Do not stay at this place. It's awful thanks to the Egyptian restaurant that plays the Islamic prayers izan first thing in the morning and doesn't care how nice you ask them to bring the music down at 7 am. Altogether it's a waste of money and I would never ever again stay there again. By the way food was...

It is on Soi 3/1, near BTS Nana, Sukhumvit. So it is a great crowded location with lot of shopping, entertainment options. It is also located near to Bumrungrad Hospital. Breakfast is poor and it is a complete budget hotel. So please do not keep any expectation. Receptionist is helpful.

The hotel was very old, the furniture were average. The rooms were average in quality and cleanness, the rooms wall were gypsum board which we did not have much privacy! Very noisy area, but there are many Restaurants, mini markets, pharmacies, money exchange, NANA BTS, night market and shops.

We weren't planning to stay at Lucky Palace Hotel, but rather at Grand Lucky Hotel, where we had booked a double room for one night. Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and were led to Lucky Palace Hotel by an employee. We paid 1600 baht for the night there, which was less than we would have...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
