I travelled with my family to Bangkok at the beginning of September. We go to Bangkok at least twice a year and this is our first time staying at Ibis Siam. We checked into two rooms on the 17th floor of the hotel. We were attended to by a friendly male staff whose name I cannot remember. The check-in was...

The hotel is very strategically located with a BTS station (National Stadium) right at its doorstep and Siam station a few steps away. It's also within walking distance to the shopping belt i.e. Siam Discovery Centre, Siam Square, Siam Paragon, MBK etc. Another plus point for me would be the 7-11 within the hotel itself, makes it very convenient to...

Speaks decent English 2) There's 7 eleven downstairs/lobby area 3) Very convenient location as it is walking distance (~ 5 minutes) to BTS National stadium and also MBK Mall 4) A lot of street vendors nearby the hotel. You can buy fruits and...

This hotel was very central to MBK Shopping Centre, Siam shopping centres and others. I was able to walk over the BTS monorail platform to MBK. Hesitant to explore by myself yet "bit the bullet" and found it without concern. Watch for hecklers trying to help as they send you on wild goose chase- you want tuk tuk?, giving business...
