An oasis in a big city! Beautiful decor and the best service I’ve experienced - nothing was too much. Breakfast was super, I would recommend the pancakes with bacon and syrup. The homemade granola is a fantastic healthyish option 😍 There is a roof top pool which is great to cool off.

This type of boutique hotel has a vibe that brings joy. It’s minor imperfections make it perfect in Wabi-Sabi style. The service is fantastic and accommodating to our needs. For example I get up early to watch as the buddhist monk’s from the temple across the street walk by with their bowls the deck lobby was set up. On a late last night we got extended pool hours. The room was clean and well apportioned, AC was quiet and quick to cool. The new breakfast cafe had very good food, juice and coffee. Plus a Starbucks is right next door. The adjoining bar offered live music and gray drinks too. The hotel has a Chinese design and hip vibe that make it something special.

This hotel was so very dirty, and the room very small. Dirt and debris under the bed. The place was under construction and the pool is closed due to covid. The lobby was a mess, but Iam guessing the lobby bar will be completed by the time I am writing this review. A lady coming out of the bathroom in the lobby tried to avail herself to my husband one night. This hotel is on the edge of Banglamphu and is centrally located, and that was the only good thing about the hotel building itself. The manager was nice enough to let us leave out luggage for 4 days while we went to Krabi. I believe there might have been 2 other rooms with guests in them. This hotel is 2 1/2 times more expensive than similar hotels of equal caliber in the area, but not worth the extra money.

The pool area was gross. Lots of pigeons. They only had a few cushions for many chairs. So it wasn't comfortable. They has some foam pass with no cover which which kind of ... low class. The staff was so disagreeable. Incredibly rude during check in and check out. We had a miscommunication with the booking so they over charged me and refused to reimburse me. Then they double booked my mom's room and forced her out threatening that they would charge us again! my mom was almost in tears from confusion! I stayed in 4 different hotels in Thailand and this was by far the worst experience. The only thing that was nice was the free ice cream and the decoration.

I travelled her in Mar 16 and thinking about it gives me great nostalgia. I may be biased as the room decor was just DELIGHTFUL. The rooms are a tad small but I was only there for one night. The location was perf and I had a little splash in the rooftop pool which wasn't too bad. The price was a steal so please give it a try.

This hotel was in a great location, close to Khao San Road, lots of bars and restaurants. However being so close also meant lots of noise! So if you want to sleep, don’t stay here! Felt like a club in our room until around 4am.

Stayed one night in this hotel during our honeymoon. Staff were lovely. Cold towels provided on arrival. Complimentary upgrade received as we were on honeymoon. So close to Khao San road. Good choice for a short stay in Bangkok.

Somehow a combination of luxury hotel and hostel, relaxed informal bedrooms without many frills but clean and with everything you need, in an excellent location and great service. Less than a minute walk from Khao San road but still nice and quiet at night. Bar/restaurant downstairs does excellent food. ATM, Starbucks and Burger King conveniently in the same court yard. Rooms are accessible via covered walkways running around the outside of the central courtyard which are also perfect for watching the rain from in monsoon season.

We stayed at Baan Chart for 3 nights having landed in Bangkok after a 12 hour flight. Check in was quick, however noone showed us to our room. The bedroom is quirky, and a reasonable size, however it comes with a number of down sides: 1. The noise. 3 nights of very poor sleep due to live music in the square of the hotel until midnight, the continued drunken revellers passing until 3am. The hotel recognise this, as there are complimentary ear plugs in the room! 2. No curtains. Bright street lights and no way to avoid the brightness in the room through the glass door. 3. The staff. There was a lack of the Thai smile here, and reception staff weren't particularly helpful. 4. The shower. Either the temperature of the sun, or freezing cold - no way to get a happy medium. All in all, a great location, but if you're not a late night party animal, give this one a miss!
