Basic but cheap and gets the job done. Some people hang out downstairs and outside on the chairs. You can buy drinks at the front desk. It's not a super social place, but if you want a clean, cheap room that's quiet in the middle of Bangkok, this is it. I stayed for one night in a private room which...

Decent hostel, clean and welcoming, staff were friendly but didn't seem to know a huge amount when asked about buses to other areas or local places to get a drink. Location was good, the Silom area has lots of good restaurants (try Chenai Kitchen round the corner!!), good street food, sky train stations and a boat pier all within 10...

And ready to help you with any questions you may have. Rooms and facilities are clean. And beds are just huge. I hadn't seen such bass even in double...

The location is perfect for travelers who want to experience Bangkok without the influx of the usual tourist crowd. It is a 5-10 min walk to Surasak Station and 15mins to Chong Nonsi. Along Silom Rd, which is 2-3mins from the hostel, there are plenty of restaurants and massage places to visit. Across the main street, there are cheap but...

It is a little further a way from the action so you will have to take the bus, a train, taxi... many places if you don't want to walk. They have hot water in the showers and flushing toilets (luxuries in Thailand). The dorm rooms are nice and clean, it is a great set up, I've enjoyed staying here!

This is a great hostel! Amazing location, staff were really helpful and it a great atmosphere! Would absolutely recommend. Also free tea, coffee and water which is always a plus! There is a communal area downstairs where there's always people to talk and share experiences with and it's in a quieter area of the city which means you can chill...

Great wee place! This hostel isn't overly hard to find...get off BTS Surasak head in same direction as train, after Christian college at Pan Road turn left, walk to find family mart and take a right - from there you'll see the purple sign. The staff were great, the facilities were nice and clean (the best washing machine yet) and...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
