The staffs were very nice and very helpful. We initally booked a wrong type of room, but the staff (Khun Pond and Khun Noey) had quickly make an adjustment for us when we arrived. The room is clean and have a really good city view. Great experience here.

We only stayed here for one night, at the end of a 17 day tour of Vietnam and Cambodia, arranged by G Adventures. The hotel was in a good location, being within easy walking distance of the mainline train station and Hua Lamphong MRT Station on the Blue Line. It is also within easy walking distance of the Chinatown Market. One quirky feature of this hotel, worth noting before you arrive, is that Reception is on the 12th floor, with guest rooms being on floors 6 to 11. It is also worth noting that not all rooms have windows, so try to ensure you get a room that has a view. Our room, (610), had a view and was pleasant and comfortable, with a good bed, a safe, a hairdryer and a minibar. However, it was the worst stocked minibar I've ever seen and I've uploaded a photo of the contents along with this review. The room does not have an iron or ironing board, though that didn't matter much to us as we were only staying for one night. Breakfast was good, though service was a bit slow. I can't comment on the restaurant, as we ate out as a group, with this being our last night together after our 17 day adventure. However, we did return to the hotel for drinks and enjoyed having them at the bar on the roof, where were were able to watch the fireworks signalling the beginning of Chinese New Year. Beware though, that prices at the roof bar are high. All-in-all, I'd say this is a good hotel to stay in if visiting Bangkok, but be aware of the prices at the rooftop bar.

Dear All Guests, Please be aware. I made a booking on 30 of June with arrival for 2 nights from 1st of July till 3 of July. Drive from Phuket to Bangkok for 12 hours. When I have arrived to hotel and security told me hotel is closed. How it is possible? I made a booking via Agoda and and it shows availability even for tonight. Definitely hotel staff is careless because they even not close availability on Agoda. Security mentioned to me that have other guests as well same me. Will never come back. I stayed before when it was managed by Centara. For sure now management doesn't care anymore.

Loved the amenities and staff. Good location relative to a bunch of landmarks made this a nice last stop for us in Thailand. Housecleaning was excellent, hotel sold cheap bottled water, and their cafe is pretty nice too.

OK so the pictures look great but in reality the hotel is a bit run down and in need of restoration. Location is great and the room OK but like I said a lot of stuff is almost broken en the carpets have stains etc. having to use 2 elevators and the fact that the lobby is as the 12th floor is also a bit awkward. Breakfast was good and it gave us a good start of the day. Staff was uninterested and spoke poorly English. Having to pay for a shower after check out is a bit outrageous for guests that staid in the Hotel for 4 nights.

This hotel had good customer service although they would not get us a taxi to the airport on our last day, we had to go out on the street with our luggage and find one ourselves. They would only provide the hotel shuttle which is much more expensive, other hotels we stayed in had no problem getting us metered taxis. We had a nice room with a great view. The hotel is well located for MRT/train station and Chinatown also quite a number of eating places near to hotel. Breakfast is OK but not brilliant.

The hotel lobby is on 12th floor, guest rooms are in 6th to 11th floors. From ground floor or car park you need to go through the hotel lobby. Room is small but clean, if you get one side of the hotel your room will have no window. Breakfast is good. Corridors need to be better look after.

Only booked here for our last night stay before our flight home as it was affordable and right next to the train station that we needed to use to get back to the airport. Also it’s a stones throw away from china town and the river docks for catching the public boat to go up and down the river. The bar is very expensive as they add on an additional charge that isn’t clearly stated so what you think is 195 baht ends up being nearly 250 baht. I wouldn’t stay here again but at the same time our stay wasn’t terrible or anything. The breakfast was reasonable. The view from the bar area and our room wasn’t too bad either. Think the superior king room including breakfast set me back £48 in total which wasn’t too bad just the hotel feels like it has had its hay day and they aren’t doing anything with the place. For information if you want a late checkout from 12pm to 3pm it will cost you 500 baht extra from 12pm to 6pm it will cost you 600 baht and any later than that they will charge full price but this is all depending if your room is available or not. They do allow you to have a shower at the spa for 100 baht if you wanted. I didn’t use this service I just opted for the wet wipe wash instead. They do allow you to store your luggage before you arrive and even if you book on booking.com you can pay in cash on arrival. I thought the Breakfast was good as there was a someone preparing fresh omelettes, scrambled egg, fried eggs or waffles etc.

Very bad execution . Do not book this hotel for any reason. Our room smelled like mold very badly. We complained at the front desk and they offered to change us the room of the same category but the 2nd room still smelled like mold and was in the same condition as the previous one. The hotel seems really old and in need of a serious renovation. The location is not bad as there is a metro and bus station nearby but the staff is unprofessional and not value for money at all. Bathroom was full with mold and was filthy. Even the trash bin in the bathroom was broken. The photos do not represent the reality whatsoever. It was so bad that we couldn’t even stay for one night and was forced to change hotels immediately without even getting a small amount of refund or even an apology from the staff! Worst experience ever.

Good location for access to Hua Lamphong MRT which gives you a cheap and easy journey to Bangkok Airport. Breakfast reasonable. Bar very expensive 170 Baht for a small bottle of tiger plus tax on top which is not clearly stated in price list, In total the beer cost over 200 baht (5 pounds) which is a shame as the bar is in a good location
