I've been there 4 days. Two before going to Phuket and two after Phuket. It is a nice hotel with big bed, clean. Not very far from the main street in Bangkok. It has a nice restaurant outside and a coll swiming pool. The breakfast was good and you could chose from many dishes not only thay food.

This is our second time to Trang, we stayed last year as a couple travelling and found it a great little budget accommodation therefore booked for our one night stay with a friend in Bangkok this year. On arrival they could not find our booking (which we'd made online with Agoda) via our name or booking reference, we had arranged...

Not good customer service. Need more cleaning in the room, the cleaner just cleaned the bed not the whole room, especially the bathroom. We're the first time to Bangkok so didn't know the price for taxies, the first day we needed to go to the central and asked hotel's staff for taxies and they said it costed 300THB from hotel...

Staff were lovely. Massage was good, clean and convenient in upstairs of hotel. Pool was clean and great for relaxing. Food was good. Courtyard setting fir breakfast was nice with koi pond and waterfall. It's not a posh place, but handy and efficient. AC & wifi were consistent. 2 restaurants in the hotel.

Friendly staff, clean room. The price is good The pool is quite cold. A little bit far from the central. But near some pagodas and Khaosan road. However, staff doesn't understand well English. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

It's a budget hotel but at the cost of a mid-range. The website shows lovely modern rooms but in reality they were old. The a/c seemed to be always cold. The location is good, within a short walk to the Khao Sarn Road.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
