It was our first stay in Bossotel Bangkok. Actually there are many choices of hotels for this range. Why must I write this review? Well everyone wants their money well spent and received a very satisfactory experience. I am writing for those seeking this. This hotel actually is well located just off the main busy road. The hotel staffs a...

We have now stayed here on 2 different trips to Thailand, and 2 to 3 times during a visit. we use it as a base for our trip. They will keep your luggage, help with transfers..and just could n't be more helpful. We love our room of 706, and the view of Bangkok. We will be back on our next...

We stayed for 5 nights and we were very satisfied. The hotel is nothing fancy, and could use some updating, but we thought comfortable and clean. Complimentary bottles of water each day was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was what we expected, and a nice refreshment after long days touring. We didn't get the...

Hotel is located near Silom Road, that's the only good thing. Everything (specially in room) smells humidity really bad. They don't speak English and don't even try to understand you. I would not come back to this hotel in Bangkok. Pool is not as shown in pictures, it's very small and located within 1 meter of rooms, so if you...

Price was quite good, but comparable to other hotels with similar amenities and options in the city. Staff was nice enough. Hotel condition is below average. Somewhat smelly hallway. The room appeared clean but a bit beat-up. Picture and display frames worn. Shower leaked into the bathroom to where a drain was placed to receive it - although it didn't...

Me and my wife spent 3 nights in this hotel. We slept in a basic room in the 6th floor. The service is good and the breakfast nice also well located but how can we forget the terrible smell of the carpet and the toilet? The windows are locked in. You cannot open. Really disappointed :(

This summer we went back to stay at the Bossotel after first staying there a few years ago. Immediately we were struck again by what is this hotel's greatest selling point: the location. It's just a 5 minute walk or so round to the river and Saphan Taksin pier where you can take the river boat up to Wat Pho/Grand...

Great base can walk 15 mins to the sky train and the long boats up the choaphraya river. Clean and easy to get to. The one way traffic in Bangkok is such a pain however. The breakfast was great, croissant and cereal toast omelets and pancakes. It's 2 mind for a seven eleven but off the main street so it's...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
