Where to start? underground secure parking.
A steakhouse and brilliant restaurant and room service.
My room was a basic room, basic, wow, with everything you would ever need, large bath shower unit, hairdryer etc, huge 6ft square bed, flatscreen tv, fridge, room safe, gowns, slippers drink-making facilities, the list is endless, and would not justify how good this hotel is and it was only around the £35 per night mark.
If your looking for a central Bangkok hotel then this is it .

Just a few meters away from Silom Road, this property is close to the red light district. The property itself is in a quiet street but when you get to the main road, things are bustling. The room was clean and looks well maintained. However, I feel that the lighting is too dark. The staff were very good to us. They accommodated bedding change by giving us a different room. When I forgot my other phone in the Grab car, they helped me with contacting Grab customer service. I was able to get the item back because of their help. Our booking includes breakfast and it’s just your standard breakfast that has local and western options. They have a pool and jacuzzi while it is small, it doesn’t get crowded either. We were here during Songkran Festival and during the 3 day event, they set up buckets of water outside which you can use to refill your water gun. They even put ice to make the water cold. I would love to stay here again when come back.

We used this hotel on the recommendation of our tour guide as a base for 3 different stays over a near 4 week travelling tour through Thailand and Laos. The hotel is very well located and easy to get the skytrain or metro. We had 2 rooms on each stay and the standard was pretty mixed, from good to average. Most had a slight smell of dampness.

Breakfast is pretty dire and basic. You'll give up and go to one of the many Starbucks within easy walking distance. The bar and restaurant and basic too.....we tried ordering a cocktail and the bar staff had to google the recipes despite the being on the menu.

Pool area is small but well kept. It doesn't get any sun for most of the day but its an outside space in central Bangkok.

The location is just far enough away from the seedy 'ping pong' bars and lady boy bars so it doesn't feel unsafe and isn't full of drunks.

There is a small 7-11 100 metres down the street and also a very helpful local laundry business. She does a great job and didn't cost much!

Booked this hotel primarily for pool use. We could not use pool as the water condition was dirty with grimy, unclean pool walls and black mould on steps.
We paid more than usual for this Bangkok hotel because of pool. It was unswimmable. The area gets very little sun and required pool water treatment is lacking. We notified staff and after 3 days pool remained the same.

The two rooms we were allocated were both so dated and the beds on level 2, in the twin bed room were very firm. We requested to move to a high floor room with a shower (no bath tub) as one of us is disabled. Our request was delivered with kindness and understanding.

If you want peace and no traffic noise then request high floor pool view however we were informed that high floors were smoking floors. This is not the case on level 5 but traffic noise from Soi 3 can still be heard in street facing rooms. Thai staff were hospitable and housekeeping was excellent. Early check in was appreciated.

Wifi was inconsistent and required repeated sign in.
Wifi was of no use for streaming or video calls to family back home.
We would not recommend this hotel or stay again.

I had a 10 day quarantine in Silom Serene in the mid of Oct. Firstly, I would like to say thank you to Mr Arno from F&B department for his assistance from the 1st day to choose the meal for a whole week, change my lunch and dinner into vegetarian and my further requests for more fruits and vegetables. Actually, I strongly recommend any holidaymakers who have difficulty in choosing food, please contact him ^^. Secondly, my room was spacious and clean, the view faces to the street and has sunlights. Thirdly, one day before my departure day, I have received message from Guest service agent via Line to ask for my departure time and I could be late check out FOC. It's highly appreciated. Personally, I have been working in the hospitality industry for 3 years and It is the review from my heart. ❤❤❤

Just returned from a fabulous vacation in Thailand. I wanted to immediately write a review of this hotel, I Absently (unbelievably) left my camera in our room when we left this hotel for our stay in Phuket. The honest and thoughtful employees of Silom Serene not only found my camera but called the local tour agency I was working with. Because of their help, I received my camera via mail before I left Phuket.
Thank you Silom Serene for a lovely stay as well as the return of my camera and all my vacation photos.

DON’T GO HERE! The worst service ever! I have never in my life gotten this low guality service. Receptionist did not even take an eye contact, did not apologoise for multiple room changes, did not greet you when going in or out. The guy in reception called prank phone call in the middle of the night and an hour came behind our door knocking, then left. So i think this is a very serious issue, when you start disturbing your customers on purpose. I tried to contact the manager via email, but given address does not work. Rooms are dirty, smelly and noisy and they can also check you in to the smoking room without asking if it suits you or not.

We used this hotel for our 4 day visit to Bangkok as part of our holiday in Krabi. The hotel was excellent in all respects. The staff were all so friendly, charming and very helpful. We had a lovely room which gave a great view of the Mahanakhon Tower. It was very spacious, clean and contained everything for our needs. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection of various food, but the bonus was that they cooked omelettes of your choice. We never got chance to use the pool, but it was a lovely area in a beautiful little garden. The hotel is also located in an area of Silom, with just a short walk to the underground, skytrain and the quite amazing Patpong night market. We had a fantastic time sightseeing Bangkok during our 4 days and this hotel was just perfect and so a big thank you to everyone at the hotel that made our short visit lovely. Kindest Regards Martin and Linda Spanswick

Outdated and shabby hotel with negligent staff.
We stayed here for three nights (unfortunately could not leave earlier as the we had paid the room in advance).
First they gave us room from 3. floor facing the very noisy street. When we asked for another room, they moved us to smoking floor to shabby, smelly room and then claimed those where the only options.
We would have understood if treaded nicely, but most of the staff had displeased attitude and they where rolling eyes, when asked for a more quiet room.
After first night we were moved to another room, which was better (no traffic noise or smoke), but still with dirty walls, broken furniture and super loud A/C.
Don't understand how this is a 4 start hotel? Maybe 25 years ago, but not anymore. Desperately needs some renovation!

Great under rated hotel. I have stayed here many times over the years and its a real quiet achiever. Stayed in huge suite room, great value for money. Essentially the size of 2 rooms, half is bedroom and half is lounge room and stocked kitchen and dining space. Was really nice to have more space than i knew what to do with. The staff are really friendly and helpful and can’t beat location, short walk to bts and mrt and loads of restaurants and shopping. The pool area is nice, i must admit i never made it into the pool but saw others enjoying it. Its got a bit of an old school vibe as far as decor, which has its own charm. For the price cant be beaten.
