Stayed at the Samran Place from 18/12 to 22/12 and found it very convenient to move around. The BTS is only a 5 min brisk walk away. The reception area is rather small and you will need to walk past the restaurant to get there but that is not an issue at all. Both rooms that we booked for were... More

My best experience from this hotel was the friendly staff especially the bell boy where he single-handedly carried our heavy luggage and hailed the taxi by himself and greeted us everytime we enter the hotel... The receptionist was friendly as well. I got no problem with this hotel plus it's affordable for budget travellers. See ya next year....... Bye....

Booked this hotel via Asiarooms for 12/12/07 to 12/16/07. I had a spacious room on the 5th floor. Despite construction right across, the room was quiet all the time. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The 5 minute walk to the skyline means I can easily come back to the room for a rest between exhausting exploration of... More

Just came back from bbk last week. Stayed at Samran Place for 5D4N. The staff there are really helpful, and very friendly. We were there around 10am, and they gave us a room for check in despite that we were early. Rooms are clean and neat. Spacious enough for 3 single beds ( there were 3 of us in a... More

This hotel is on the main road. The windows do not fit correctly, hence there is no respite from the 24 hours traffic noise. Also, there is a huge construction site next door, literally a few metres from the bedrooms. Only stay here if you have noise cancelling ear phones. A couple of plus'....the food is hot, tasty and the... More

The hotel is very conveniently located on Petchburi Road and it's only a 5-minute walk to the Ratchathewi MRT station! Breakfast is adequate and the food is good. Loved the Tom Yam Kung! You definitely have to try it! :) Our room was big (I think it was a standard double) but the bathroom is a bit cramped. Also, by... More

Me and my friends (3 other ladies) stayed in Samran place over a weekend of Bangkok shopping. Sceptical about the place, especially after reading reviews about the noise level etc. However, upon arrival we were all pleasantly surprised by what we have. Good things: 1) rooms were clean and surprisingly new. all that you would ever need on a comfortable... More

Hotel room is clean and reasonably spacious. Service is polite and prompt. Breakfast is provided and guests choose from a choice of about 6 breakfast sets, which range from american breakfast, porridge, fried rice etc. Serving size is not large though, if you have a healthy appetite. Tried their tom yam soup for lunch upon our arrival and it was... More

I made my bookings online and requested for a superior room since I was travelling with my husband. I chose Samran because of its positive reviews. But even with the good reviews, I was prepared for the worst. Fortunately, it was a pleasant surprise. The staff were nice. The room, bed sheets, towels and bath tub were clean which is... More
