When you go to Bangkok I don't think your're expecting to spend a lot of time in your hotel. This hotel is perfect for cleaning off the city and having a good night's rest. In the morning get up and get out! The rooms are just fine for sleeping and cleaning up but not much else. But what more could...

the location is perfect for short visit to Bangkok, the palace, museum and khaosan road just around the corner.Even though the room is not the best you have see its great for the price and staying in Bangkok you dont need to stay in your room its so much going on. The staff will do everything to make your staying great and...

The room was spacious, clean and not to expensive in an area that is quite pricey! Right next to Khaosan Road which was ideal. Only stayed for one night but would stay again if I was in Bangkok. The staff were friendly and organised us a taxi back to the airport, would recommend as it's easy to get overcharged by...

We stayee here for 2 nights when we first landed in Bangkok. Ok rooms. Nothing special, but good. The service from reseption is not not great. But there will not be a problem. Food in the resturant is good. Ate every breakfast there. The best thing about this hotell is the location. Its so close to this big road where...

On the surface, there's really nothing special about the Thai Cozy House, but we found it clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is sandwiched between other buildings, so that means that two rooms per floor have windows. The rest are interior rooms. If you like a room with a window, keep that in mind. We had...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights as our first destination on a two month backpacking trip around SE Asia, this place is decent enough for a place to rest your head and store your bags. We were out exploring everyday so we only ever came back to shower/sleep/change. Things to consider when you stay here. 1. The...

Thank you for your good comment. However, I am looking into it to ensure it does not happen again.

Stayed for 2 nights only. Super close to Khaosan Road, but not close enough to hearing the loud noises from Khaosan Road at night. room quite clean, friendly staff, but the bathroom is not that clean. for 800+ baht it's worth the price

We spent there only one night, we had a VIP room for 850 baths. Unfortunately it was not really clean, bath was just next to the bed, had cockroties there. If I can choose I would not spent a night there.

We've stayed in a lot of cheap hostels. This is the worst one we have stayed in yet AND it's the most we have ever paid for one! -The walls are so thin that we could hear noises for all surrounding rooms clearly -The beds feel like a plank of wood on top of springs -the room has no windows...

The rooms having no windows really bothered me. It became depressing to stay in the room. The bathroom is horribly engineered with the shower essentially being on top of the toilet. The staff are decently friendly. Extremely close to Khao San Road. However, I would not stay here again. I think you can get better value elsewhere.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
