You get what you pay for... , but for 10 dollars more I could have had a very nice hotel. My room smelled, the TV did not work, the mini fridge did not work and was leaking water onto the carpet. Not clean.

This hotel was nothing but just a place for one night stands or more. The hotel was a complete run down. If you are picking this hotel, think twice. The power sockets work occasionally and the wifi works once in a blue moon. The showers might stop when you are in the midst of applying your shower gel or shampoo....

We were drinking in patpong and decided to stay so went in here, it was cheap and functional we got what we paid for, I even had some tattoo's at the studio next door, this is not really a family place it is more a revelers rest, reminds me of the places I stayed in when I was younger in...

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and what I can say for a single lady this is not the place to stay. It is located in the Red Light District of Bangkok. Though very convenient to shops, the Sky Train ( 10 minutes walk) and the night market I can say better to get a better place even...

Very dirty roon with a lot of bugs, we had to change the room twice duringn the same night. In every room (we saw three of them) were a lot of dirts and even one cigaret butt under the bed! Inside hotel were a lot of lady-boys with their clients (I met in the elevator).

We arrived to the hotel in the morning, left our luggage (we were in the room only 2 minutes and thought "OK, very poor room, but is cheap and we can sleep here" and went for a walk until 20h, when we returned to the hotel the street was very different we saw in the morning: at night it´s a...

This isn't a fancy hotel and has seen better days, but it's clean and presented no major dramas. Close to night markets, bars and skytrain. Reception was on the third floor, but there were always staff stationed right on the front door as well, so I don't think they can be faulted for security despite being in the 'dodgy' end...

This place is not even acceptable as a "short time" hotel. If you've frequented Bangkok redlight districts (which this hotel is in the middle of) you'll know what this means. The pictures they post of their rooms in order to entice overnight guests are not remotely accurate. The rooms are dirty, dark, and depressing. I had to fight off a...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
