The best was friendly staff and the inclusion of a decent buffet breakfast. Other wise the Restaurant is fairly pricey. Especially when you do not have to go far to find good food at a fair price. As for the room, little dated but clean with comfortable bed. Wifi not so strong with interruptions. Perhaps not totally romantic but at...

Mido hotel is what you expect from a hotel. It is clean, you can sleep undisturbed and there is a good breakfast to start the new day with. The beds have a hard mattress. I slept well on it though. When one is not used to this, avoid this hotel. It disturbes me that foreigners have to pay almost twice...

We booked the advertised Luxury room on the 9th floor , as the pictures looked very tempting. Very disapointing , as the room was absolutely basic , very bad finishes in the bathroom , it makes us wonder how the normal rooms look like! Guests have to be used to hard mattrasses. OK for somebody who wants a 2 Star...

Greta little hotel, in a very handy location to transport and shopping. Seven Eleven close by, plenty of cafe's and restuarants that are nearby. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a little tired but great value.

How can this be allowed to happen anywhere? Why is the Mido Hotel Bangkok behaving border line RACIST? This would never be allowed in the UK, USA, OR Australasia. And I'm sure in Europe. My Wife called to make the booking. Fine at (1000THB) for the night. Anyway a little later we arrived at the checkin desk, and to my...

This hotel has all the amenities needed for a business traveller. Even the smaller rooms are equipped with a desk and work table, and it's the only hotel I've found in the area with free Wi-Fi. The staff is top notch and attentive to your needs. I've found that hotel service generally reflects the quality of management, and clearly the...

Staying in Ari

Neighbourhood Profile
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
