We have stayed at the rose hotel twice now.and what a hidden gem it is. We had an extra fold away bed for our daughter which made things a little sparing for room but hey your only in your room to tidy up or sleep....More
This is a great place to stay in Bangkok! The hotel is very very clean. Staff is really friendly and they have a great service desk that helps you out of you want to go on a trip or traveling! They've got a really nice...More
Only stayed one night in this hotel and it served its purpose.
Make sure you have the address in Thai and the phone number of the hotel as our taxi driver had trouble finding it. The hotel is situated down a small side road.
Rose Hotel is a well-priced Central Bangkok hotel. Rooms are small, but have recently had a refurbish so are clean, good shower/bath, and even have a 32inch Sony TV.
Highlight is the exquisite pool, lowlight is the tired grubby atrium to the rooms.
First time I stayed here and it's very central for my work purpose (walking to the Chulalongkorn University just across the main road). Room is ok, internet too, but the insides are a bit gloomy. Nevertheless, a pool in central Bangkok with an adjacent restaurant...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
Is it true with all the negative comments with regard to the hotel condition & facilities as per mentioned by few traveller? Please give some feedback as I planning to staying this hotel soon. Thanks in advance.

I have stayed here several times. I enjoyed each stay and I would go back! The pool is by far the best feature of this hotel. The front desk staff are not super friendly but they are nice. Just not overly nice as you come to expect of the Thai people. Rooms are a little dated but they are fine and for the price, a great choice! The wifi is so so and it's horrible that they charge for it but c'est la vie. I sat give this hotel a shot! you can always move if it doesn't suit you... but i think it will!
