Great budget hotel. Staff are super friendly!! Locating is perfect. Clean rooms. Amazing roof top Terrace. Easy access to Grab (basically Lyft/Uber). 3-4 blocks away from an amazing local street food market. Market is super busy with vendors Monday-Friday, weekend only a handful of vendors. Only a couple blocks away from the local transit/train station.

Tricks: I went to the local grocery store and purchase Nescafé coffee and sugar to make coffee in the room every morning. They provide a water kettle. I think I paid $2 for both bags which i used about 10% so taking the rest home

I also purchase laundry liquid detergent. Very humid here so I sweated a lot and need to wash my clothes. The bathroom sink is normal size, so I had to do laundry in batches. They provide a drying wooded rack in the room. I also hung items outside on a metal rod. There is a coin operated location about 10 minute walk south of the hotel. I think I saw it was 40 baht for a wash and 80 baht to dry.

2 opportunities:

The mattress is a little firm for my liking.

A/C is just ok. I found that if you take the air-filter out it works much better. Simple pull on two little pin compression screws and the intake grate swings down and remove the filter. I put it in my closet and put it back when I checked out.

The hotel itself is in a good location and next to plenty of amenities as well as touristic sights and Lumpini Park is roughly 20 to 30 mins walk.
The hotel itself is old but very quaint. The pool on the roof is pretty cool and some of the views are ok. The bar itself is closed due to the pandemic. I didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast as I was out most of the time so cannot comment on that.
The room was ok, twin beds, an amazing powerful shower, toiletries, a hairdryer, and air conditioning. The room was dark and no views but I have to say, for the price I paid, it was worth it and would recommend to anyone who is on a budget. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Overall, lovely stay for 4 days and well worth the price.
Thank you

Siam Heritage in Silom area provides a mix of value, comfort & convenience. Because it's located in a budget district and near Patpong Night Market. The Skytrain station is 8-minute walk & The Silom Complex is 12-minutes walk from the hotel. Massage shops and Nightlife centers are in a short distance. For those interested in popular landmarks of Bangkok, the Siam Heritage is located a short distance from (Wat Traimit) (2 km) & Chinatown (2 km) & 7 km from the 18th Grand Palace. This relaxed hotel with wooden doors and décor provides a spa, and an outdoor rooftop pool . Dated rooms & decoration and low degree cleanness are some weak points of this hotel.

This hotel was booked for me by my tour company. I did not feel welcomed at check-in. I had a non-smoking room (412) but it was on a smoking floor, so not a good location. My keycard didn’t not work. The bellboy who delivered my suitcase said he would bring another one. I waited. Then a housekeeping person turned on the lights with his card and I asked if they were bringing another one for me. He said no. Then I called reception and I had to tell them my room number four times before they could understand “Four, one, two.” Finally, I got a working keycard. My room and bathroom were very dated, sad, dark, and not as clean as I would like. I asked if I could pay extra and get a room like those pictured in the elevator. They showed me a suite, bigger but just as sad. When I went to the bar for my “Welcome Drink,” I wasn’t welcomed. There was no choice. The server just put a glass of pineapple juice in front of me. The breakfast was okay, nothing special.

After three days at a characterless, charmless large chain hotel in Silom (see previous review), I decided to check out the The Siam Heritage and the contrast could not have been more stark. I could not love this hotel more - well perhaps if it was free! I arrived early but was still welcomed warmly, assisted to my room by the lovely front doorman and was so happy to see all the art and woodwork and color throughout the hotel and in my room. The room and bathroom are quite large and though mine only had a window view of the building next door (so no real outside light) there were plenty of lights and lamps throughout. The bathroom shower was quite spacious - again with traditional thai wood doors between the bedroom and bathroom.

But my absolute favorite part of this hotel was the rooftop pool (which  is also where the penthouse suite is located) The pool is small (actually two pools- the main pool and then a water fall/feature cascading into a smaller pool) but sparkling clean and surrounded by orchids and lush greenery of so many sorts. Whoever is planning and maintaining the garden is so good at his/her job. And so you can float in the pool under the frangipani/plumeria trees or just explore all the hideaways and plants - if you have any appreciation of tropical plants you will love it!

Breakfast was also good - not a lavish buffet but good enough - but with a warm welcome and attentiveness from staff working - who later in the day staff the Siam Cuisine restaurant on the ground floor. And fresh flowers on every table at breakfast!!

Silom isn't my favorite or need to go area in Bangkok but if you need to be in this part of town, this is a wonderful choice an I plan to return just to experience the pool again. I really can't say enough good things - the owners/management have clearly been thoughtful in planning this hotel and then in meticulously maintaining it.

I found this a great place to stay. When you arrive at the hotel it looks as if you are at an old style Thai hotel. Very traditional looking. But the hotel is only 18 years old, so everything like the shower and stuff works and is modern. The room doors and other decorations are traditional Thai designs, it really works and creates a great atmosphere. The rooftop pool and area is very nice.
It is in a great location for the popular Silom Road and Patpong.

We stayed here earlier this month at the end of our Thailand trip for two nights and really liked this place. A nice boutique hotel with spacious, colonial-style furnished rooms. Friendly service and well located close to a lot of restaurants, shops etc. Not far from Lumphini park. Room rates are moderate and fair for what you’re getting and there is a small pool and chill area on an upper floor to enjoy. They offer breakfast and we tried it once but that was the only underwhelming aspect of this place TBH. As a visitor to this part of town you have a lot of other choices nearby, of course. Would recommend this hotel and would always come back here, thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Siam Heritage for our two nights in Bangkok. The location was really nice, not walkable to the main tourist sites but easy to get around, close to trains, easy access to the river and lots of areas to walk around nearby. We especially enjoyed the local market area between Silom and Surawong where we had some of the best food in Bangkok. Mostly we enjoyed the older Thai style of the hotel as opposed to a modern hotel that you can find anywhere in the world. The staff was very nice and helpful in arranging transportation. The small rooftop pool and gardens was a perfect city escape. There is a restaurant downstairs and hopefully the cute cafe in the lobby will reopen soon. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and the location is excellent. This will certainly be my go-to hotel when I visit Bangkok in the future. Plenty of small restaurants, bars, massage places nearby, only 5 min walk from MTR.
The room was clean, big and the wooden furniture certainly added the charm.
The staff is professional and very helpful. I asked for a quiet room which I also received upon check-in.
I forgot my phone charger and headset in the room and the hotel posted it to my adress in Phetchaburi.

Yes the trip desk was still there last time and the nearest metro stations are Sala Daeng on BTS or Silom or Sam Yan on MRT. Sam Yan is the closest Both about ten minutes walk. From Suvarnabhumi take Airport link but get off at Makkasan stop before Phaya Thai , then take mrt to Sam Yan
