I stayed one night here recently when I had occasion to need to stop overnight in Bangkok city centre. Conveniently located on Surawong Road in one of the city's major tourist areas, close to transport, shops and attractions. Large, spacious rooms with a mix of old style Thai and western decor, in both rooms and public areas, latter rather cluttered... More

This is a very conveniently located hotel just minutes walk away from the Patpong night market, Sala Daeng BTS station and countless numbers of eateries in the hustle and bustle of Surawong Rd. Staff are extremely friendly and commands a good level of English. We arrived a few hours before check in time at 11am and was told room is... More

The Siam Heritage hotel is probably not so well managed as it is able to show the kindness of its staff. Perfectly located for the whom feels like diving into Siam's life. Subway is nearby, malls, night market and nightlife

This is a nice hotel in a central location in Bangkok. The staff were friendly and made our room available a couple of hours before the published time as we arrived early. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom was adequate but very old. The room was well furnished but quite dark. There was a window but this has... More

It's been about twelve years since my last visit to Bangkok. I had always stayed in the Silom Road area in past as it seemed to be a handy location. The taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel as it wad tucked back from the street. I found the hotel to be clean and the staff quite friendly. The room... More

Enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very central and a short walk to Silom and the Skytrain. The staff here is excellent and always smiling and ready to please. The swimming pool though small was in a garden environment and had a bar attached to it. The spa, though rather heavily priced, had an excellent masseur who gave me... More

We stayed one night here after a night of what I called glamping in the jungle. So the AC, privacy and full bath were a huge welcome:) The reception area is nice and the front of house staff were very friendly. My first impression of the room was ehh. Our sheets had a few stains on them, the bed wasn't... More

This hotel was generally fine with some nice touches but overall felt tired and has seen better days. It straddles a fine line between 'heritage' and 'in need of renovation'. Room was big with many amenities but not particularly comfortable with two options on the aircon, freezing and off. Breakfast was good but service not particularly friendly, especially compared to... My stay at the Siam heritage suites could not have been better. The hotel is perfectly situated, being close to the sky train and other train and bus routes, close to the night markets and many restaurants and bars and also near major park and shopping districts. My room was large, bed was very comfortable and there was no outside... More

Hotel older and room was very tired , bathroom ordinary, but that is ok. We anticipated that and booked for its good location. Booked 2 nights with breakfasts to see some of Bangkok before a night flight home. By booking the 2 nights it meant we could stay in the room until late evening. 1st night was ok although pillows... Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
