We stayed here in April 2012 and although the rooms we had were very run down the service of the hotel staff was outstanding!!! Anytime we had a question or needed tour advice they were there to help! Our last day we were able to extend our checkout until 1800 due to our late flight and they helped to arrange...

The two-bedroom suite was very spacious for our family of five. Our three kids had plenty of space to sleep, roam and play inside the safety of the room. However, the furniture and fixtures looked *nothing like* their advertised pictures on the web. I would classify the room interior as down-right run down. Some of the door frames and walls...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in February, 2012 at the beginning and end of a group tour to Myanmar (rooms 2204, 2205). Both rooms were huge suites with nice views of the Bangkok skyline, and both were comfortable. Each had a kitchenette area adjoining a living area with sofa, dining table, tv., and a balcony. The...

Likes:- There are so many things I loved about this hotel. I'll list a few. Awesome spread of breakfast. Best I had till date. I would suggest to book the room with breakfast. Inviting lobby area, really beautiful. We had spacious 1BHK flat (photos attached). All rooms face one direction only. I particularly would suggest room on higher floors as...

Stayed for one night upon arrival in bkk before going to Chaing Mai. Would have happily stayed for more. Huge rooms so great when you have kids. Also loved the 7 11 only just round the corner and the mrt was within walking distance. Breakfast was ok. Didn't expect 5star when not paying 5star price to stay there but kids...

The consistent theme of all the reviews thus far is pretty accurate - the rooms are truly massive, but the decor is a little dated. But if you are just off a long flight with family and need space, this place works. Beds are great, and it's very clean and friendly. If you want five star, the Metropolitan etc are...

2 adults & a teen (in extra bed) stayed in 1-Bedroom Deluxe Room. Rooms almost cavernous in size in kitchen/dining/living room & bedroom/bathroom layout. Hence only bathroom was through bedroom to access. Per another’s review asked for “renovated room” but drew blank stare from reception. Still, room was in OK condition, though with a slight odor that may not be...

This property was perfect for my wife and two kid during our stay in Bangkok. I will preface it by saying we were coming off a few weeks in Camodia and Vietnam where most of the time the four of us were in the same room every night. We got to Pantip Court Serviced Residences and were blown away by...

The hotel is very close to the German, Austrian, Malaysian and Australian embassies. Its on a side street off one of the main roads in Bangkok. There is a tube station (Lumpini) just under 10 minutes walk, but the Skytrain can only really be reached by taxi (nearest station Sala Daeng). The hotel is 17 years old, but they are...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
