We had an enjoyable visit. The rooms were clean with air conditioning. The staff were helpful. The guest house is central so provides a good base for travelling around Bangkok. Also minutes from Koh San Road.
I like cheap hotels. This is almost as cheap as you're going to find in Bangkok with AC (yes, you want AC). The rooms vary in quality. The rooftop has the nicest rooms and the middle rooms in the hotel are the cheapest. There are...More
The pool is very nice! And the travel desk at the hotel is very useful. The restaurant also had very nice food. Our room was awfully small, and the bathroom was dreadful. The only window we had was in the bathroom, and it didn't even...More
Good area in Bangkok, especially if you are young pool was under repair, they only clean your room if you ask. Friendly staff. Ask for shampoo every day. It is hard to find, even for taxi drivers, just keep asking locals

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
