Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

I have visited Malaysia many times when in need for cheap accommodation. The sixth-floor rooms are better than others. They have renovated there a little bit, but the rooms are still quite worn-out. Nice pool.

Booked a deluxe pool view room with free breakfast and 20% discount at restaurant and massage place . The room was ok but I’d wrongly assumed it was one of the renovated ones so it was quite dated and tired, nevertheless it was clean and comfortable and everything worked ok.

when i stayed at this hotel back in 1990 it was a good place to hang your hat for a budget traveler. today i hear it caters to the gender confused crowd. it saddens me to see a once great hotel overrun by poofters. sad...so very sad.

We stopped here for one night during in November. Friendly staff, basic but nice and clean rooms, beds are pretty good as well. 24 hour food which is cheap and very tasty. Ask for beef with garlic, it’s not on the menu but worth the ask :)

It still has a faithful band of gay customers although the clientele is more mixed than previously. Beware major renovation currently taking place!
