Ok, I already wrote a bad review month ago and I feel sorry about that: I believe in Karma and I feel I must give Babylon one more chance. The place is still fine, the rude manager with ridiculous tight jackets is still being rude with everyone call the phone about a reservation, but from last visit some new staff...

Rooms are small but functional and clean. Shared showers and toilets in barrack rooms. Quick and easy cab into sites. There are local restaurants a short walk away. Sauna busy but closes at about 22.00. Lovely pool to sit beside in daytime. Enjoy.

Obsolete: facility is 20 years old or more. It USED to be one of the nicest facilities in the world but no longer as it has not been refreshed. A big section is closed including steam room. Gym equipment is worn out. Small pool cannot be used naked. Unless specific event is held like a Songkran weekend party or a...

My partner and I went to Babylon for the restaurant and the pool - honest! But to get to either you have to pay for the sauna entry and collect your locker key and towel etc. then negotiate your way through the collection of bodies, good and bad, to find them. The pool area looked nice on first impression but...

Actually, I've stayed here on numerous occasions over the years. The less expensive barracks rooms are nice enough, however, you share the large bathroom with others on the floor - which can always be fun. There is a safe in the room, water cooler in the hall, and complimentary entrance to the spa. Breakfast is fresh made - a different...

I stayed from Monday July 26 till Saturday July 30 2016. The price for the room 704/703 is ambitious 3000 Barth per night plus tax. The rooms are big but have seen better days. The bathrooms need a total makeover to be nice and clean again. On the 7 th floor is the machine room for the lift. Very noisy....

Read a lot of mixed reviews about this place before arriving. Wasn't sure what to make of it. However, when I got there, it was absolutely lovely! I only stayed one night, but from checkin to checkout, everything was great. The Bvglari suites were spacious, clean and comfortable.. and probably much nicer than getting a room in the high rise...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
