stayed here a couple of times now. 5 min walk to khao san rd, but much more laid back area. plenty of sights and things to do, in cluding markets and temples. it also hase two "travel agents" on site to arrange trips out. hotel it's self is nice and quiet

Stayed at the Rambuttri village again for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip. Travelling with 2 kids. Like the hotel, as the rooms are big enough to hold 2 adults and 2 kids, clean, and 2 great pools on the roof top. The location is perfect as it is near to Khao San and the boat pier for...

Great Location, not bad value for money but don't expect a restful nights sleep. AC is noisy, beds are hard and rooms not sound proof at all. Ear plugs could greatly improve your rambuttri experience.

We stayed at this hotel for five days and found it to be a reasonably priced, clean hotel. Pros: great breakfast, close to waterfront, huge selections of restaurants and food sellers nearby, price ok, staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: you pay for the breakfast in the cost of the room, noisy at night, no cleaning done in the room...

Great location , rooms are very small knew this before we booked but as we only used for sleeping and showering did the job just fine . Rooms were clean and tidy so no issues there . Rooftop pool is fine to chill out at for a few hours away from the hustle and bustle . Good breakfast with plenty...

We picked this hotel because of the good location. It's within walking distance to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho Temple ( about 2km). But it is an old hotel, the rooms are not that clean, the walls are thin and you can hear all the noise from the outside, no one cleaned our room even though it says that...

We found this hotel to offer a quality and comfortable stay for our family in Bangkok. The hotel is in Soi Ram Buttri, near to Khao San Road (but the more upmarket and chilled of the two). This hotel is good for visits to the Royal Palace, Reclining Buddha, Golden Mount and Khao San area - it is within 5...

Very loud hotel right in the centre of things. Great location, but sound carries throughout the hotel. The staff were incredibly unhelpful. I left something in the room and checked out. When I went back to ask about it, they initially lied and said they did not have access to lost property. Only when I really pushed did they get...

When arriving December 10th 2016 My travelling companion and I stayed here at the old building. We had a pleasant stay. Breakfast seems to be for those purely on an egg and processed sausage diet. The pool on the roof was a bonus. HOWEVER After checking in last night December 8th for the night; I was told I would be...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
