Went to book a room in this place ans service was so bad and place so untidy I just walked away. Feel sorry for the guests that stay there. I think a lot of the hotels in this area are of a poor quality. Easier to walk 15 minutes to khoason road. I would rather sleep in a tent!!!!!!!!

I have stayed here twice before and both times the accommodation has been basic but cheap, kind of what you'd expect given the price and location. I booked online this time and the system messed up and booked us in for the wrong day! Seeing as I'd booked this 10 days before we were due to stay I thought that... More

I didn't expect luxury here, we paid a low-ish price, but really my complaint is not about the room. Granted, the electric switch was hanging off the wall and the shower heater wasn't working, we went down to explain that the hot water was not hot, the person behind the counter frowned, and I can understand some people thinking the... I was surprised how bad this room was. It was a studio room with aircon. The bathroom was extremely small, had mold inside and I noticed bed bug bites around my body during my stay. I am sure that this place was the cause of them. The staff isn't very smily. I wouldn't recommend this place.

After reading a few reviews, I was quite skeptical in coming here! Myself and one other friend shared a room with a "toilet and shower". We also had A\C which was great! It is in an ideal spot, walking distance to some great attractions and of course close to Khoasan road! Close to the markets and great street food! Rooms... More

Beware! The rooms do not look like those on their website at all! The rooms are dirty and smelly. The A/C blows out ice in the middle of the night. The wall is so thin you can hear everything outside the room. It was nightmare for us since our room is located near the stairs so we can hear footsteps... More

Booked 2 nights stay at the inn with good deals. I was expecting the same room as I saw in the internet. When we arrived, the receptionist didn't even smile to us. Probably it was her PMS day. Didn't bother it that much until we saw the room. Small, smelly and dirty! We barely can walk inside the room. Stayed... More

I payed the 900BHT for the 4 night stay! Stayed only for ONE NIGHTT!!The rooms was so bad, and smelt like mildew, that luckily I had some Tea Tree oil and put it on the wall, fan, and bedding, to make the smell bearable. For my sleeping, the springs on the bed were broken, and good luck trying to get... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
