We stayed at Bhiman Inn for two nights, perfect to be close enough to Koh San Road but also far enough away for a quiet night. Staff where so friendly and polite. Was meant to be a fee to store our bags all day but didn't get charged this! Would stay again! The bathroom isn't the nicest but good enough...

Found this place minutes after running away from a hideous hotel down the road. It was cheaper, not far from the main entertainment, quiet and spacious rooms. There was also a pool which was nice and view of the river, as well as being next to 2 7 elevens. The air conditioning was a bit dodgy though (kept going hot...

A budget friendly place with good proximity to Khao San road and the pier. The air conditioning was amazing and worked really well in the humid Bangkok heat. Great for people with mobility issues with a ramp and lift, however it's hard for them to get into the pool with the steep stairs. There is no balcony and the view...

very good for 1-2 nights stay in Bangkok, pros - perfect localization, during the night it was quiet; cons - average room, expensive taxi from hotel – get one on the street, staff was polite but not really helpful. Overall - it was OK.

Booked 2 nights here.. but was disappointed as pictures on booking.com made them look better than they actually are.. Bad points There's 1 usable plug socket in the room.. Air-con was either on or off as controls broken so couldn't change temp.. Rooms are dark and dated.. Pool area is right by the river and would look like somewhere that's...

Booked this hotel from the airport to save us from looking for a place. Rooms are clean but there is not much storage space, shower had plenty of hot water and decent pressure. One big downside is that aircon is uncontrollable so it's either on full power or then off completely, otherwise an okay place to stay for a night...

We spent with my mum 1 night there and in general it was ok taking into consideration that it is only one night. Minuses: the room was not ready when we arrived, the reception lady couldn't find our reservation and she insisted that we have to book again (nonsense!), no breakfast included, very poor restaurant in terms of food, the...

Stayed here our first 3 nights in Bangkok. Got bus from airport 100b pp to Khao San rd. Bhiman only 1.5 blocks away. Friendly staff, clean pool, room serviced daily and from our room we couldn't hear a sound! Hard mattress but great sleep. Walking distance to Khao San rd, the pier 13 for ferry to temples only 5 minutes...

Nice hotel in Khao San area, but away from the noise and madness of Khao San road itself, full of bars and discos. This is a good choice if you want a centric place, but quieter than Khao San road. It has a nice swimming pool and my room was spacious and neat.

If you want to stay in Banglamphu near the major tourist attractions like Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and close by Khao San road, but far enough away from it's hustle and bustle, Bihmann Inn is an affordable choice. Don't expect too much from the rooms. You get a good value for your money, which means a small clean...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
