We stayed here last week just for one night. After having arrived from the airport a bit confused and dazed, they were extremely hospitable, providing complimentary juice and cold towel. They showed us how to get where we wanted to go and even rang someone...More
We've stayed in this charming and quaint small hotel during our visit in Bangkok. We all loved the Thai ambiance and the vintage style interior. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, even packed us a picnic because we didn't have time for breakfast one...More

I originally booked the twin room on the ground floor but upgraded. You don't get much of the charm in the twin room so book the superior room. The rooms on the upper floor get the pretty wooden flooring and sweet little communal balconies with...More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

Thank you for your interest in Baan Chantra, the non smoking guesthouse near Khao San Road. Our Superior room is upstairs with balcony facing Samsen Road. while our Standard room is smaller with twin beds and is downstairs. The standard room has a window opening to the Library which will be closed at night time and is considered more quieter though we have a double glazed window for the Superior room upstairs. However due to the wooden structure of the old house, the noise from the street can still come in a little
