Visited this place for 9 nights and I must say that this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for this category of hotel. Location - if you need to stay in a calm place not close to any attractions please book your stay here . The only plus for this hotel is that there is a train station right opposite. There is nothing to see or explore around it. Except for one 7 eleven and MC Donald's and a few coffee place that close by 8pm. Rooms and stay - horrible room at the starting category. It's super small and the pictures are incorrect on all travel sites like Agoda Nd booking.com. I was highly disappointed and when complained to the manager she dint respond for 2.5 days the shower in the bath has a problem for the whole hotel as I changed my room mid stay. The showers simply throw super cold water or super hot ! So you get either very cold or burn your skin. The staff did not care about this complaint . But my biggest challenge would be incorrect pictures of the room. I shifted my room to a higher category as half the things were breaking in the entry level room and the manager listened after threats of 2.5 days. The other room was better in size. But all other problems remain the same. Bad showers which makes you uncomfortable and if you are traveling with a family member. The toilets and showers do not have doors!!!!!!! So it's a free show for your family. The breakfast remained the same for everyday and it's too basic. So do not book with brekafast Final comments - staff is rude from top to bottom. The manager said she doesn't care about any online travel portals for any complaints. The manager is always shouting at the guests as well as the other staff is highly unsupportive and seemed racist as well . I would not suggest this hotel to any traveller who is wanting a happy time in BKK. if you are in and out and never interact with the staff then go for it but the location has no advantage too. …
I still stayed at this hotel (checked in @ 18 Nov 2022) & will check out @ 22 Nov 2022. Very bad experiences. 1) since I checked in told the receptionist that bed light is not functioning & asked them to repair ( told them first day & second day), unfortunately until now not action taken. 2) Wi-Fi totally cannot use, call them they told you is automatically connected & no need the password. But always showed “unsecured network”. Will not come back again !!!
This hotel has some good things going for it. Great location & great staff. Despite the intermittent WiFi issues, the rooms were in good condition. Regarding the breakfast, it was horrible. I've stayed at this location many times with great breakfast choices including rolls & croissants, but it has deteriorated greatly. Not even breakfast items any longer. No yogurt, NO BACON, NO POTATOES and just plain white bread. I think they serve leftovers from dinner. We had spaghetti carbonara, fried pepper pork, seafood with curry powder and some unknowns. Nothing resembles breakfast except for an egg & watermelon. It's disgusting. They need to fire the chef and get someone who knows what a breakfast is for their international customers.
The pluses are nice & clean, convenient(BTS Chong Nonsi), Silom/Sathorn area, daily housekeeping, and a good price at times. Minuses are needs some TLC, electric cut off switch tied to room key, view of adjacent building walls for most rooms. Essentially an aging hotel that is still nice but needs some maintenance on small touches (my bath faucet & toilet dripped at water connections, bathroom electric outlet open & loose, shower holder loose, water stain on ceiling, door on 9th floor needed repair). Smaller rooms have no real view nor does window open. Lobby in underground parking, there are 3 separate elevators depending on which partition you are in. I'd skip the expensive in-hotel breakfast (not unusual for Bangkok).
Great location at Chong Nonsi BTS, across from Mahanakhon Skywalk experience. Street food & markets in alleys are within walking distance as well as McDonalds near 7/11 on the corner hotel reception, housekeeping & tour desk were all kind&helpful & made the experience very pleasant. Hotel room was great value and comfortable with complimentary water everyday. Sometimes the air conditioning was a little loud but it wasn’t too much of a bother. We have stayed here before and will return again. Thank you to hotel reception staff and housekeeping for your services - your friendliness makes us feel welcome to return.
- Hotel staff do not understand English and look very unprofessional - The hotel is very noisy, even at night they actually clean the corridor, this really disturbs the peace of the customer - The hotel applies a fine system if there is property such as dirty towels, please be careful because you have already paid for your stay you should not be charged any additional fees, and I can categorize this as a trap for those of you who will stay because they were not informed when you checked in - The staff is not friendly and when they speak English when they don't understand their tone is actually higher than us
So lucky to be upgraded to this premium room on the 9th floor. The location ~ perfect. The view ~ perfect. Amenities ~ perfect. The roof terrace pool has lounge seating that is ideal for quiet evening get together. The room itself felt sophisticated and the bathroom was supreme.
It is such a great disappointment to be in this hotel. First of all, the check in took such a ridiculously long time to be completed even though they had three staff at the counter and was dealing with one family. Then the three nights that I stayed there were plain nightmares. I checked in on 30th April, the next morning - Labour Day which is a holiday here - I was awakened by the renovation work! The drilling started around 8 and lasted till 10am. Not to mention the hammering that went along with it. The door of my room would not shut automatically by itself. I had to hold onto it and make sure I pull or push the handle to shut the door! The balcony is dirty - with cigarette buck and its light is without the bulb. The water temperature in the bathroom is a real challenge to control. Day two was slightly quieter until 5am when the BTS started. I have been bestowed a room that faces the BTS station! But last night was the worst! The air conditioner was making so much noise that I had to switch it off. Then mosquitoes started to attack me in my room! When morning arrived once again the drilling started. Guess what? Today is another public holiday! It seems that this hotel doesn’t allow some guests to rest during public holidays! I will NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone. If you wonder if I have informed the front desk, yes, I did. The respond was, ‘oh, we are sorry.’ So, I’m conclusion, I didn’t manage to rest at all!…
Staff was so rude and couldnt deal with issue, couldnt manage situation in the best option for customer. I came to check in around 7pm and found that the door room wasnt completely closed i could push the door open without insert key card. I went to lobby told staff the problem and ask for new room. They didnt let me change the room and one of women staff, the older one, try too explain about the door and try to make me accept that room. I told them about my concern that the door wasnt close completely and that mean anyone can get into the room and i didnt want to stay there. I had to insist many many time so i could get a new room. And another woman staff, the younger one, had rude expression to me and keep doing such a rude act to me on the next day we met. And i never receive any apology for this improvidence situation. Please train your people to have more service mind, manner and ability in solving urgent problem.…
Just a few steps from the BTS sky train. We got Thai herb drink as a welcome drink. The room were ok for us. You can find many street foods just next to the hotel. I would recommend the restaurant called "Kra-prow", a well-known and unique Thai restaurant.
