Stayed here over ten years ago so was expecting it to be showing some wear and tear but was surprised to find that to not be the case. Rooms are still clean, quiet, colorful and not shabby - and not brand new either - no flat screens here! I would fully return. Only note is that breakfast does not seem to be served any more but hipster coffee shops have moved into this very working class neighborhood and 7-11 is just round the corner. In addition to all the coffee shops, there are also many new boutique-esque hostels that are now in the neighborhood but I would return here as a safe bet knowing it is quiet and consistent.

My husband and I stayed here during the first part of our Thailand Honeymoon. The service was accommodating and spoke English, and helped us figure out our transfers and voyage to Krabi. The room was cool and clean, and spacious. We appreciated the water and coffee every day. The hotel is close to street vendors and a 7-11 and other restaurants and we walked to these and enjoyed the food there. We also walked to see the sights in the area. The shower has great water pressure. We were also grateful for the computer in the lobby which we used to book the next parts of our journey, and the WIFI worked fine. I saw they also offer tours and excursions, which is helpful if you want to visit temples or the floating market, but I was disappointed to see that they advertise animal tourism (elephants and crocodiles, etc) as displayed on a poster in the elevator. There are responsible ways to see and interact with wildlife in a natural way, not watching a show where an elephant paints or is ridden, or a man puts his head in a crocodile's jaws. It just takes a little research and kindness to understand why animal tourism is harmful.…

Decent hotel in a good area removed from too much hustle and bustle but close to all the fun. Really reasonable rates, very clean and the AC is super cold. Wifi is alright for personal use, blinks a bit sometimes but if you have a Thai sim it’s not an issue. No fridge in my room, not sure if they have them in others. Tours from the front desk are about 25% less than anywhere else I’ve found in the area. Recommend if you are looking for a budget room to yourself. Huge plus, the hot water is consistently piping hot.

My bf and I traveled to Thailand in April 2019 and we stayed at Boonsir place in Bangkok. The Hotel itself is average but nice, clean, with good and helpful staff who can talk in English, and daily room service. You don't have much options for breakfast there, but luckily a 7-11 shop is just beside the hotel, and you can find McDonalds 10 minutes away by walk. You can find lots of Thai street food specially in the evening, in streets nearby. The best thing about staying at Boonsiri is that you are very close to the lovely KHAO SAN night market, 5 minutes walk. We spent most of our nights there. You are also very close to the historic places, Grand palace and few others. The two unpleasant thing about Boonsiri is that it's very busy where the hotel is located. Lots of vendors are there all through the day. And it is far from the city center and the MRT/BTS trains.…

The room is quiet and clean, freshly painted. Bed is comfortable. The desk staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Close to many must see landmarks in Bangkok especially the Grand Palace. Very organic neighborhood with tourist amenities but not overwhelmingly touristy such as the Khaosan neighborhood a kilometer away.

The room is small. And a little bit old for me. Im not suggest to bring a big baggage because the lobby also very small. But this hotel has a good location. No worries. And breakfast still OK. They have computers in lobby we can browsing or using it.

Great location, walking distance to Khao San Rd and Grand Palace, doesn't feel like a touristy location. Good breakfast, clean room, enough room on the balcony to string up a clothes line but that's about it. 7-11 right beside the hotel. Good for the cost. No great spot to hang out at the hotel outside your room.

The hotel/hostel is in a very good position for Khaosan rd Grand palace and Wat Aran. They is a 7 11 at the side of the hotel which is very handy. We reserved a deluxe room it was a large room with only a window no balcony. The beds where dirty around the bottom of the frill (black would come to mind ).. Also the room was not very clean or the hotel for that matter I booked a taxi though the reception for a early 6 am ride to BKK.For 500 Balt To my horror a old 20 plus year old family car was waiting (not a taxi} to take us to BKK before getting in the car we were asked 2x that we had the money. We would not recomend this hotel to anyone . They is plenty of cheap hotels around. The hotel also sits in a red light district and homeless people which we had to walk passed each time we left the hotel in the evenings.…
