I stay in Bangkok every once in a while and was pretty much hotel hopping as it was as I am admittedly not easy to please. But the Baan Sukhumvit Inn did the job. It is close to where ever you would like to go- the entire Sukhumvit circus is at your fingertip but still far enough off so that... More

I would definitely recommend this place. Great location, easy access, short walk to BTS station. Save me some $ for more shopping :) Simple boutique inn, no frills but sure feels cozy. Rooms are clean and aircond powerful which is blissful after long hours of shopping outdoor. I want to thank Kevin of Baan Sukhumvit personally for the wonderful hospitality... More

Everything about this place is excellent - the staff (especially Kev, the friendly Geordie), the rooms, the location, the food and the service. Puts a lot of other places to shame, excellent value for money and friendly helpful service - they could never do enough for us. A must for a central stay in Bangkok, we would highly recommend it... Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
