The staff are second to none in terms of friendliness. If you engage with them they engage back with you an ample amount. Our guy Reggae was an absolute gem. He helped us with all our tour bookings and any questions we had about the local scene. This is our second trip here, first time was before the pandemic and it’s nice yo know they never dropped they’re standards even during these quieter times.

Spent 2 nights with my daughter at this hotel. We picked it especially for the roof top pool and bar. The room was amazing and had everthing you needed. Lovely bathroom and comfortable beds The pool area was dissapointing. Although the pool itself was nice with great views the poolside area was shabby and in need of redecorating. The steps into the pool were not very secure and wobbled a lot. The staff were helpful in reception especially when we booked a taxi and they coud not find the hotel. A little dissaponting considering the cost

Stayed twice within a couple of weeks at Amara. Our first experience was good. We booked a normal room (no CLUB) and got a very spacious corner room on the 19th floor with a very large bathroom. The hotel is generally clean, the rooftop pool is nice (although the pool area does need some improvement) and the doormen are very friendly. The frontdesk staff however stops greeting you after you paid for your room (you need to pay the full amount upon check-in...). Since we did enjoy our stay we decided to book Amara again for our return to Bangkok, and upgraded ourselves to the CLUB room. Our second stay was disappointing. The Club upgrade is definitely not worth the extra cash. The room was in fact smaller than our previous room. We were offered another room but on the smokers…

First of all, please kindly allow me to explain to you that all of our room sizes are pretty much the same sizes, however, the floor numbers differentiate the room category mainly. In fact, we do have our club lounge where it should be the place for providing foods and club benefits to all club guests, however, our club lounge is being closed for maintenance issue, therefore, free flow drinks and snacks are being served at our main restaurant instead at the mentioned time that should not overlapping with dinner times. However, thank you very much for highlighting other points which certainly I will look into this along with my operation teams. The service at the roof top bar has been excellent. The staff members M, Pop and Jacky were very friendly and professional to provide a great service to their customers. They do understand the needs of the customers and provide valuable recommendations. They are very quick and friendly to deliver the best service to exceed the customer expectation.

This is my third time staying AMARA BANGKOK, and I really like the experience of staying here! Because it is very clean and comfortable, the smell in the hotel is also very charming, The rooftop pool is also very impressive, so we took a lot of beautiful pictures there! Finally I want to thank someone, her name is Bow! Bow's service is really excellent, she is very warm and kind, and also guided us to places where we can go sightseeing. so if I visit Bangkok again, I will still choose Amara Bangkok.

The recent reviews probably reflect my experience. The reception staff were excellent and communication prior to arrival were too. The room was good. The pool and area was full of instagrammers in the wild posing and taking photos continuously, loud music and the decking clearly needed repairs . Did i mention the pool bar staff were not very welcoming. Breakfast was crammed full of people sine coughing and sneezing so maybe suggest future guests eat elsewhere .

Fine modern hotel well located for Silom. I never used the gym or pool so I can't comment. Room is well appointed. The room (cheapest one) and bathroom are large, clean and modern but without a sofa or bathtub. I didn't mind. Enough soap provided in the shower for 2 showers a day. The bed is massive but it;s actually 2 beds next to each other so I couldn't use the full width of it as I travelled alone. Why does the fridge not work? Good idea not to have a mini bar but the fridge is useless. I raised with reception and no change. Standard buffet breakfast, "Street food" is meant to be prepared in the yard in addition to the buffet but it was never available ... I only saw a cook once out of 3 mornings and he was gone when I went there. More
