Very dishonest hotel. We paid half a day rate to arrive 8am. I emailed the hotel a few days before arriving to confirm the half day rate for early check in would include breakfast. Was told via reply email it would include breakfast on Friday. Hotel then charged me over 1,000 baht for breakfast on Friday and said my package only included breakfast for the Saturday check out day. Showed hotel staff my email and still insisted on billing my credit card. I'll never stay here again!

Our trip to Bangkok Amara was very good. The staff attention to detail was immaculate and very hospitable. Love the rooftop pool overlooking the city. Was a great place to have coffee in the Morning. A special thanks to Poom , the hotel Manager (I think) - she handled my problem in communicating as I lost my phone in a taxi very well. She was nice enough to sit me down and calm me down taking over the anxiety that I had. Thank you Amara and special thank to team that got me my phone back . What a great hotel

The hotel itself wasn’t too bad. Decent room that was functional and clean. But the location of the hotel was in a horrible area. So close the the Patpong night market, which btw, was terrible. And so close to the red light district. Not good. In addition, there is no close public transportation and really nothing else around. Wouldn’t stay here again for those reasons.

My Partner lost an Item at the hotel on the last night and after an e-mail, General Manager Poom Samkasat reacted immediately and relayed everything to the concierge & housekeeping. Within a day they found the item with huge sentimental Value and without any hesitation asked for all the details to have it mailed. 3 E-Mails and a simple creditcard transaction later it was on it's way and only 3 days later it arrived. ABOVE and beyond customer centricity! 🙏🏻

Two rooms at this hotel have been reserved. First off, the bathroom in one of the rooms was awful (I've included photos). They offered to change the room starting tomorrow, but for one night nothing was done. Additionally, when we checked in, they asked if we preferred smoking or non-smoking rooms and stated that non-smoking rooms would have two king beds. We requested non-smoking rooms, and as a result, we were given one room with two single beds combined and another non-smoking room with an awful odor that gave the impression that someone was smoking inside. Also, the hotel needs renovations, but at least it needs to be clean. The torn curtains (photo included), the bedspread is smeared (photo included). Small details: The room keys did not function, and the wifi required…

Dear Yevgeniy Z, Thank you for your time writing your reviews with regards to your recent stay. I personally had a discussion with my team on your booking and stay experience. Please kindly allow me to explain. Your booking was booked and requested two rooms to be allocated nearby. As your booking was booked under our lead-in room category, they are located from 09th - 15th floor, our front office found two vacant rooms located next to each other, hence these two vacant rooms were assigned on 15th floor on Fri 03rd Feb. Due to the limited number of king size beds for the lead-in room category, one of the rooms was given the room that has two beds attached together instead of a real king size bed. 15th Floor is also a non-smoking floor as well. The curtain was not torn, but due to the strong sun, it could have become thinner which we have started to change the curtains in all rooms. The room key was not functioning as the room was changed on the second night, hence the key card and wifi access would need to be reactivated for the safety reason. I just stayed 8 days at Amara Bangkok. I was there in 2019 also with some friends and this time alone. I have to say it was absolutely amazing to be back in the hotel. The nice athmosphere, the sweet and always helpfull and smiling staff in the reception, the doorman, the poolbar staff, all in all they gave me a superb vacation. The view from the roof top pool is stunning, especially when I was sitting there at sunset with a drink. You can also order food from the pool bar during the day. From the room you have great views over Bangkok and I like to sit with my coffee in the bed as a slow start in the morning and just enjoy the city views. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also MRT nearby, bars, clubs etc. and also a 7eleven. I will definitely be back to…

Had a wonderful trip and the hotel was spotless and very welcoming. Everyone spoke English which made the trip effortless. Bow extended exceptional service helping me get my grab app working and even finding a discount for me on the app. Restaurant was excellent best mushroom soup I have ever had. Staff was so kind and warm. Amenities were plentiful and located in the heart of the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Was a bit disappointed with this hotel. Had trouble with the washroom toilet and after 3 attempts to fix it the hotel did upgrade us to a new room. Little things were not great. The hair dryer was missing the filter screen and sucked my hair in, which I then had to cut out as it was fried and matted. The replacement hair dryer was held together with electrical tape. The restaurant was mediocre, the rooftop pool/bar was also very small, with only a couple of lounge chairs for sun bathing and the majority of seating for the bar. Location was very good. Central to the city and close to Skytrain. While the rate was good, I would spend a bit more at a better rated hotel and would not stay here again.
