This place is am excellent location for nightlife all within walking distance. Its a great place to find all the tourist attractions. The place is super cl3an and welcoming the faculties ate perfect and the roof top bar and pool is perfect place to unwond and relax. Highly reccomed as all staff speak English and offer great service and look after you well. Great buffett breakfast also.

The Amara staff was very friendly and made lots of efforts to solve any kind of problem or question. The room was tidy and clean and the view throughout the window gorgeous! The skybar on the top of the hotel allows to have a view over the city that you will never forget! Swimming in the pool and watching the skyline at the same time, it’s just amazing. The managers of the hotel have a great hospitality. I can definitely recommend the hotel!

We arrived at 15:30 to be advised that our room wasn’t ready, my reservation confirmed check in from 14:00 and I had advised on our arrival time. We were asked if they could have an hour to get the room ready. Having travelled from London and been travelling for 15+ hours I asked if another room was available which they found and we were able to check into. Once in the room there were no towels available and I was advised that they hadn’t yet been delivered. After travelling for that many hours and just wanting to have a shower it was very disappointing. I had booked this hotel on the basis we would be able to relax after a long journey. Came here 5 years ago and the hotel was in much better condition. In general the hotel looks pretty tired and below comparable 4 star luxury standards in Bangkok for the same money. The originally beautiful wooden panels mostly look damaged by time, many carpets with stains, showers with mold and the cool but very small pool sky bar Terrase is directly shabby and should Ideally only be enjoyed at night time where is has a nice effect. The lobby must be one of the smallest for a big hotel with no public area to meet or wait. Gym is nice with new Technogym equipment but very hot as aircon does not work sufficiently. Shame because very good location and staff is nice as always in Thailand.

Nice hotel although there was a strong perfume scent in the hallway. The rooms were nice. The roof top pool bar was really nice, good and drinks were good. It was a good location. Would recommend staying here.

Akaaza rooftop bar was totally amazing, we dine in and celebrate our anniversary khun M was perfectly make our night a special one she taking care of us very hospitable amd we feel welcome. Great staff, lovely rooms, perfect location for the gay scene, we didn’t eat here so can’t vouch for the food, but the cocktails up on the roof were lovely - try out their beer-based cocktails! And a great view from the pool, definitely worth spending an hour or two up there.

I really need to say that this is my favourite hotel in Bangkok. Big cozy, calm rooms, good breakfast, a pool with a great view and the staff is absolutely friendly...They fulfill all your wishes and needs...You should definitely stay here...you will never regret it!
