This Hotel was very good. Their chicken with Cashews was great. Bangkok on the other hand is really noisy. DO not spend more than a couple of days and be careful with Tuk-Tuk drivers. There are always trying to trick you.

I spent 4 nights here and this place IS value for money.. Located just down the road from Khao San Rd district (bars/cafes/restaurants/night markets) you are only a 5-7 minute walk away from all the attractions of the area. Plus its only a 7minute walk to the water taxis! The down side.. really small rooms which were noisey at night...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, but would have been comfortable staying longer. Our room was on the second floor and faced the street. A tough noisy, but not bad with the A/C running. At 1200/baht night we were quite happy. Nice and clean. Well designed. TV. Good lighting. Roof top garden with jacuzzi. Nice restaurant with...

Cozy little Hotel right on Khao San Rd. The other reviews are right in saying the rooms are small. I made sure to have the address to show the taxi driver, so we had no troubles finding it. It was a little noisy at night, but the beds were comfy, and it was a great place to stay for our...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
