I am a 75 year old man traveling alone. I got a Covid package through Thai government website, and made a big mistake choosing this place. I understood the package included Covid testing, and advised them I was arriving at about 1-2AM. They did not pick me up as promised, the airport personnel put me in a taxi, and I was charged 10 x the standard fare by the hotel. When I arrived i was immediately informed that I owed them more than twice what I had already paid, for Covid test and early arrival. They were entirely predatory and demanding of payment, but failed to carry through with their commitments on Covid. I checked out and paid their exhorbitant bill asap, but I had to return TWICE to get the required documents they had failed to give me. They never did give me a receipt for the extra money they charged me, and I was too tired to remember to ask, just wanted to get out of there. They should be investigated. This really amounts to criminal negligence. Never EVER stay here.…

Extremely bad customer service. The manager was suppose to contact me after I called five time and sent twelve emails about a personal matter and nobody cares. They also taken 3900 bath from me and refuse to refund although my British Airways flight was cancelled. Don’t go there.

We had a great stay here. Room was good and had a very comfortable bed and got cleaned everyday. Pool is great but can feel a bit crowded when there are many people. The breakfast was okay but can be improved and it didn't always had signs which said what everything was. Staff at the breakfast was very friendly, staff at front office not so much. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to a lot of cultural places and Khao San Road. Don't book the airport taxi service through the hotel, it's extremely overpriced!

Stayed for 3 nights,hotel rooms slightly tired but clean and spacious,so good value for money. Highlight was location tho,2 minutes walk to Rambuttri village which was a joy to walk thru,some lovely bars and restaurants 😀

Location is good for the Khaosan Road area. Hotel in need of revamping. We was not given the room we paid for. Hotel offered no compensation but did say we could change room when one was available. We declined as it would of eaten into our 2 day stay. Cleanliness is satisfactory but insufficient toilet paper and lack of toiletries. Breakfast was ok.

A very clean hotel with a nice pool. Room was clean and buffet breakfast was good. Not a great location for catching trains. We walked to Sanam Chai station, about 20mins. It’s not a long walk but in Bangkok heat and humidity, it’s very unpleasant. And the hotel is situated on a one way street so the Tuk Tuk drivers will overcharge you. Temples and the Palace are also about a 20min walk away. Staff are not friendly, but that’s a Bangkok thing.

Stayed here from 4th to 7th October . Nice clean room with fridge and very comfortable bed. Good buffet breakfast included in price. Very friendly helpful staff in the restaurant. Very near the Khoasan road and the river. Very reasonable good street food restaurants nearby. Very good location.

Just of the kho San road, quite back street. Nice pool and restaurant. Friendly staff. Near to the river boats and a short stop or two from the Grand Palace and Eat Arun.stayed for a week with children and would definitely visit again.

This is my second review of Siam Palace View. We have stayed here at least on seven previous occasions and apart from the occasional hitch (always promptly resolved) still consider this our favourite stay in Bangkok. However the price keeps climbing, one of the reasons being the compulsory breakfast included for which I think one should have a choice of having and paying for or not. As one is forced to pay for it you are inclined to get to the dining room at a certain time and face the not always pleasant " feeding frenzy" at the start of your day. Will not return to Palace View again unless given the choice of rates with our without breakfast.

Stayed here at the start of our time travelling Thailand for 2 nights and then we chose to stay here again at the end of our holiday, when we returned to Bangkok for another 2 nights Not a bad word to say about this hotel, very close to khao san road, can walk it in 5 minutes. Pool area is nice, staff are very friendly. Had 2 different rooms during our stay here, and both were spacious, shower was good, and the air con worked properly too. Would recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in Bangkok. Will definitely be back next year on our travels
