I'm writing my review from the pool of this great boutique hotel, i don't want to leave! After a few days in busy Chiang Mai we decided for a trip to the country, Baan Canna is the perfect place to relax. We are in a classic villa (2500 bath without online booking), the villa is beautifully decorated and very big,... More

I love this place and would definitely stay there again! I would recommend room 101 for the best view of the entire estate. Baan Canna is tucked away in a quiet spot about 25 minutes drive from Chiang Mai's Old City. The resort is quiet and ideal for families, couples who want a quiet venue for vacation that is just... Such a short drive from the city but very much feels like the countryside! This is a small 6 villa resort in a beautiful setting - with views over farm fields and mountains. A great place to get some peace and quiet, but within short driving range of Mae Rim and Mae Sa attractions. The manager, Dai, is the ultimate... More

This beautiful country resort is outside of Chiang Mai by the Mae Rim village. If you looking for an escape from busy life and connection with nature this is the place to be. it's a good getaway option if you're up for clean air, and want a quiet stay. the owner, Tai, is a very nice person and gives good advise too helping us with planning our trip. The room is very nice, get the Garden villa so you have a full panorama view right from your hotel room. The room, however, is... More

My husband and our friends, another couple, rented a car and drove out from the airport. It was a little tricky to find, but the resort manager guided us over the phone. We hadn't been to Mae Rim before and found it to be a peaceful location. It's about 45 min from the old city. So we divided our vacation... More

This resort is like a little paradise. We have been around in Thailand for 4 months and have stayed at various hotels and been satisfied with almost everyone, but this resort was something extraordinary, both in terms of the villas and the service. The manager upgraded us twice and both rooms / houses we had was fantastic, with patio and... More

Stayed here in December 2011. As soon as you arrive at the water garden at the entrance you enter an area of peace and tranquility. You are greeted by friendly helpful English speaking staff. The accommodation is in spacious, well maintained Thai style villas, some of which have views over the gardens, pool and countryside beyond. The staff could not... More

Will need a car to get here but it's a well preserved gem providing a nice Thai accent to your trip. Good clean rooms which is fairly big given that it's a all-villa resort. Good English speaking staff. Get villa 1 as it provides the best pool + mountain view.
