This place is not worth your money. It is very old and nothing works perfectly. Rooms are dirty and bathrooms have cockroaches. They have a pool but it's green with algae, really disgusting. And they do not clean the room everyday. We wanted to check out the first day we arrived, it is that bad.

It's an ok guesthouse in a nice spot, it's just a shame the grumpy receptionist lady still has a job. All the staff are friendly and she can be too but watch your step as a word out of place will tip her over the edge. We had laundry done and it was returned dirtier than when we gave it...

We stayed at SK House 1 for 5 nights and paid 500 baht a night for a double room with en suite. The room was a decent size, as was the bathroom. The mattress was hard but not the worst we've slept on! Towels were provided and all in all we were very happy. There was a swimming pool and...

I've stayed here numerous times as the location is very good, the rooms are decent and clean & it has a pool. They also have a restaurant which does reasonable food & is close to lots of other restaurants and bars. Plus the massage lady across the street is awesome! My only downside is that the staff at reception are...

Small room, hard bed, average cleanliness, no wifi on the first floor, staff not friendly and more focused on their mobile. Affordable price but that's what you got. And a bit far from the night market but you can manage with a tuk tuk or by renting a bike. No thanks!!!

The place is nice, rooms and swimming pool are clean. The food is not expensive and very good. But they have to change the staff... The receptionist is annoying, is not helful at all. Too bad... unfortunatelly, avoid this hotel if you need any information or any help.

Overall our stay was fine. Based on what we paid to stay here it is worth it BUT if you are looking for anything more then the price you pay don't stay here. We had our own room with a fan and air conditioning but they were not the best quality. The wifi is only in the main outdoor area...

We got off the sleeper train from Bangkok and one of the Thai taxi drivers handed me a brocher and offered to take me to the northeastern part of the old city for free if I checked out a room here. The room was spacious and clean. The a/c didn't work great but it cooled the room down. The biggest...

The rooms were clean, however the air conditioning and fan in the room that we stayed in were completely inadequate...it took an eternity to cool the room! The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the staff were rude and unhelpful!

The rooms were dirty, I had blood on my sheets and mattress, cockroaches were everywhere - a couple even checked out while we were there due to a cockroach infestation in their room - the beds were uncomfortable, there's no WiFi in any of the rooms and the staff are comically rude. The signs in reception make it clear you...
