This hostel is really near to things in CM. They are soooo helpful and made our stay so worthwhile. They organised an amazing and caring elephant trip for us and also a lovely cooking course even arranging a lift for us from the cooking class to the airport. Bed wasn't the most comfortable I have ever slept in but for... More

I loved my stay at Julies Guesthouse. There is a great rooftop area upstairs with hammock and beds to chill on with a beautiful view of the mountains and downstairs is another large common area with a pool table. They serve good food at a fair price 50 baht for a main meal, and cold beer & water. The staff... More

In julies guesthouse 1 you get what you pay for. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom for 150 bath. Room was simple and okay, mattress and pillow were very uncomfortable, bathrooms were gross most of the times. Many dirty people that don't flush or even put cigarettes in the toilet.shower had not enough pressure to wash my... More

Poor overall cleanliness, I am sure the floors in the rooms have not seen a mop in a very long time. WiFi didn't work in the rooms, so everyone had to use in the common area, though unfortunately that meant getting bitten to death by mosquitoes, and annoyed by a large number of flies. I do not expect luxury service... More

My husband and I stayed on a dorm at Julie's II -- the beds were decent, with chargers and a lamp for each one. Lockers and Wi-fi worked fine, too. The common area was nice for meeting fellow travelers and the location is awesome, with lots of cool restaurants and attractions nearby. "So what went wrong at Julie's?", you may... More

Great place for backpackers. Cheap rooms with nice new fans. Never got too hot whilst sleeping. Good coffee, cheap beer, warm showers, nice quiet lounge areas. Busy with other like minded travellers. Great place to meet people. Really enjoyed my stay. Great value for money

Very lively lounge areas which are perfect to read, talk, and meet other travellers. It was my third time in Julies guesthouse and i really like it, but this time I had bad luck with the room number 91. It is one of the loudest as its window faces the path to the common area and the common toilets. I... More

Had amazing an amazing stay at julies guesthouse. It was my first time backpacking and also my first time sleeping in a guesthouse. Was there with a friend and we booked a doubleroom with fan, so we had our own bathroom. We did a lot of tours that we booked at the guesthouse and we always got a special price!... More

We only stayed at Julie's Guesthouse for one night but found the staff really helpful and welcoming. It's located in a good spot only a fifteen minute walk from the night bazaar markets. We had a double room with fan and ensuite and found it was clean and comfortable. We'd not had a hot shower for a while so it... More
