I found my private room confortable, the atmosphere at the hostel was good. The food tasty and I liked the basis of trust where you log what you take from the fridge. Its a good location in old town and within walking distance of bars and clubs.

juli guesthouse is a cheap hostel were you can meet many other backpackers. apart from that we didn't like it. the stuff is very unfriendly and not willing to help you in any way. the beds are not comfortable, the rooms are very small, some are noisy. there aren't enough bathrooms/toilets, so you often have to wait long time... it's... This is a good place to meet people. People like it to relax, dring or have lunch in the lounge. If you want a trink, you can self-service you. These people are honest. If you need help, the staff is here for you. When I came here, I wanted a single fan room. But they had no room for me,... More

Room was basic, we had a fan and no aircon. Private wet room was good but made the room humid and damp. I would recommend air con or a shared bathroom but for £2/night each it's hard to go wrong. Social area and restaurant are great! Very relaxing and I can see how a month could slip by. Staff very... More

We spent 3 nights at julie s and we were pleased by the nice lobby ambiance, simple and cheap rooms and helpful staff. However the hostel is quite noisy at night and the food well cheap but not fantastic at all. Anyway good for a stop.

Julies guesthouse was recommended to me by a friend and when I arrived I was not disappointed. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are cheap and have exactly what you need. The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff learn your name very quickly and every interaction is pleasant and hassle free. There is an amazing chill out... More

Julies has few positives: a pretty good common area at the front with a good selection of pretty cheap drinks, a pool table and food service. However, you could come into this area without staying in the hostel so not sure it really counts. It is also well located and cheap (but then so is every other hostel in the... More

Very basic room but for 300baht a night you can't complain. Social Area is great, free wifi and a restaurant. The reception staff very rude, we booked for 5 nights via email and they asked us to leave after 4 nights because they were full. We moved to anima next door whih was MUCH nicer but less social

Larger than you realize when you first come in. Overall a good experience, with a great location and good value. Beds are rather hard and rooms are basic but for the price it is good value. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a good base and pkace to meet other travelers.
