Spent 6 nights at the guest house. The place is really nice, good wifi, very nice pool and helpful staff. Good location. we changed a room because we didn't have hot water (they fixed it the next day but we stayed in the second room). The rooms were not the best.. the showers are ok but week water flow, the...

Me and my boyfriend are backpacking around SE Asia and stayed at The Royal Guest House for three nights. We really enjoyed our time here... Staff were extremely helpful, when I called and asked if we could check in earlier they organised this and it was ready for when we arrived. The location is excellent, just a 10 minute walk...

Staff and management are very helpful and friendly. My air-conditioner broke down so they moved me to the room next door and fixed it so I could move back the next day.Water is warm enough with reasonable pressure. Didn't try the TV. Good area for socialising on ground floor and pool is good after a hot day out. Area is...

We booked our budget fan room on Agoda.com, 7nights for £55! Which split between 2 people we couldn't turn down! When we arrived we were told we couldn't check in until 2 (considering we arrived at 7am that was a long wait!) but after a large cup of tea and a little snooze in the sofa, we got woken at...

I have lived in Thailand for 8 months and stayed at many guest houses, hostels, hotels. The royal Guesthouse was my biggest disappointment yet. I booked far in advance because of the great reviews of this place were positive and I wanted to be near Thae Pae Gate for Loi Krathong. I had expectations I suppose and that was my...

Good pool, great location, cheap and offers a quick laundry service. The room was very dated but the room was a good size with a small balcony. The social area was very quiet when we were there but it looked like it could host a decent get together. Possibly the loudest air conditioner on planet earth! Shower is pretty terrible...

I stayed here for a week in October 2016. I got a really good deal, and for that price I could find no faults. The room was clean, the building is nice, the bar and common area are very enjoyable and the pool is handy for cooling down when it's too hot. The staff are extremely friendly and they made...

Great value for money. Swimming pool (slightly eggy), pool table, bar and social area, easy to talk to other travellers. Excellent location, close to all amenities etc. The rooms aren't amazing but you can't complain for 300 baht a night. However....the staff did try and charge us 2x what we paid online for an extra night, so we just booked...

You get what you paid for, and the plus side is to have pool for relaxing. A little bit hard to find. Staff are friendly and kind and you can book a tour or rent a motor bike at the hotel which is very easy.
