I have just spent a few days at Tanita house, which is a delightful small guest house with a few wooden traditionnels bungalow in a very nice garden. The place is quiet and situated in a peacefull neighborhood, accross the Ping river, next to Wat Ket Karam, a very nice monastery. The owner, Khun Aor, is very helpful and nice. At the bottom of her own house, there is an antique shop and a small dining room where you can have breakfast and coffee. A highly recommended place! Bruno Philip
I have just spent 4 nights at Tanita coffee house. If you are wondering where to stay I highly recommend it as a place to stay in Chaing Mai. Very central to everything. Aoi is very kind helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean Free coffee, tea and water readily available. Good breakfast. I look forward to staying at Tanita coffee house again when next in Chaing Mai
Tanita’s House is amazing paradise in the city. The whole place is so authentic. The smell of flowers and plants is more than adorable. The whole crew are amazing ready to help and assist for anything. Smily and warm people. The location is perfect. You are not in the “jungle of people” but you are close enough to everything. Our stay was more than perfect. For sure I would like to come back there!
Lovely wooden accommodation with real character. Great owner who is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is help yourself and great. Fridge outside the room, with free water. Few minutes walk over the bridge to the main town with lots of street food. We'd love to come back sometime!
This is an amazing spot. Refurbished teak homes/bungalows are well furnished and bring a level of warmth and coziness to the grounds that I don’t think one can find elsewhere. Great breakfast. Coffee and tea all day. With only six or seven rooms, there is more of a b&b feel to this. The owner-manager, Au (spelling?), ensures everything is just right. Yes, it’s a 20 minute walk to the old town, and under 10 to the night market. Tuktuks are easy to find if legs are weary.
