We stayed there 2 nights with my wife and it was OK. we didn't spoke much with the owners, they didn't cared much about us, but they looked fine. The room is pretty small and something (the fridge probably) was doing a terrible noise, like if a truck was in the room, the cooling system was very noisy too, we...

4 nights here. Nothing fancy. Inexpensive. Comfortable room. Lovely hosts. Breakfast next door. Dinner 50 steps away. Temples 2 blocks away-oldest one in Chiang Mai. A little racous at night ,lively, social. This settles eventually and can be drowned out by air conditioner. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Great stay at the Brittania for two nights. Hot shower and air conditioning made our stay very comfortable. Room was also very clean. Safe was also nice to have. The owners answered any questions we had and were very kind. Great location close to many of the main sightseeing attractions

This is a clean comfortable guesthouse inside the old city but with several noisy bars nearby. We were a bit affronted at the amount of notes around the hotel telling us they would not keep our luggage for free if we didn't book a tour with them, and it would cost money to open our safe if we had a...

One thing that really pissed me off was the guesthouse owners told me and my wife to check out 1hour before the actual time i.e.12.00pm. In every hotel and guesthouse that I have stayed, never have I been asked to check out early. This is because ( I suspected) that we didn't take their tours; even as we left, not...

This place is definitely the cleanest place I stayed at in the 'soi 9' area. No breakfast unfortunately , which made the place a little pricey compared to other guest houses in the area. (~850bht). However , you get what you pay for. the 300bht places nearby are dirtier , noisier , and have very uncomfortable beds.

We have stayed in many places in Thailand from 5 star hotels to 0 star guesthouses, but the britannia has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. This is in no small part down to the lovely owners and staff who always give their guest a great welcome. They are so friendly, helpful and the perfect...

The hotel was nice, super clean, and walking distance from most highlights. But the best are the owners, who receive you in their hotel with open arms and help you arrange activities. We booked either a zip line and a elephant camp day trip through the hotel, both were excellent. Besides, its close to 3 bars, and a range of...
