We've just got back from our trip to Chiang Mai and loved staying at Huan Ping Phu. It's in a convenient but quiet location and nice and small. The rooms are traditional (we stayed in 2 after being moved to a better room halfway through our stay without even requesting a change!) and the building is wooden so noise travels,...

Checked in here on our first night in Chiang Mai. It was very clean and comfortable. Air con, TV, wifi etc. Staff were friendly and curious. Location was excellent. My only critism is that the room was dark with very little natural light but as I said it was clean and comfortable. Was 600baht a night €15 so was very...

Gorgeous hostel with a lovely little garden in the front, away from the busy streets but still close to everything you need. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and spoke very good english. No breakfast, but there are three very good places for this just outside the door, esp the royal legion place does amazing sausages. Only...

Came across this place by coincidence, while checking out the famous massage opposite the most popular Top Garden Boutique -and saw a banner advertisement for this place at the beginning of the street. i was there in July 2012 - for whatever reason my initial comment never got posted - so i'll try out of very fond memories now months...

My husband and I stayed here for a week, while doing some work and visiting the sites in Chiang Mai. The room was large with simple but tasteful decorations and the location was very central but on a small side street so quiet and peaceful.
