Fairly basic but thoroughly enjoyable guest house, good location for many attractions, nice and chilled vibe with other travellers. The food was delicious, pool great for hanging out and even collected us from the train station following the long overnight train from Bangkok. Best of all was the travel service, who organised our day excursions to tiger kingdom, elephant riding...

SK house 2 is located behind the oldest wat in Chiang Mai, Wat Chiang Maan, and offers an ideal location to access many major attractions by foot. The rooms are nice; the roof is cool; and they even have a pool! I would highly recommend.

The sk2 is in the old town of chiang mai in a quiet street next to a tempel. We're the second time there an it was awesome again. The rooms are not expensive and and clean. The building looks very nice and have a lot of nice details like fish tanks, birds and small fountains. On every floor is a...

We were recommended this guest house by the Thai intro tour we had been on in the south. We were collected from the airport for no extra charge and were welcomed and treated like family for our entire visit. The staff were first class, constantly looking to help and never once made us feel silly when we needed advice. The...

I stayed here with a group of 10 friends. The accommodation is ideal. The rooms are basic but have everything that you need. It also has the best wifi I have come in Thailand so far. It is available on every. Floor. The restaurant serves great food and is open all day long you can order breakfast or lunch at...

Great location within the old city and within walking distance to most of the main attractions. Staff were really helpful and were good at organising day trips for us to Doi Suthep and Doi Inthanon national park. Breakfasts were good and reasonably priced. Rooms were large, we had a fan room which was fine, we didn't get too hot and...

So we came to this guest house as part of a package. Wasn't expecting much apart from a bed and shower. What we got was so much more. The staff are on hand and cannot do enough for you. Very helpful with everything we have thrown at them. Perfect location as it's quiet but not too far from the main...

Looks great initially with large rooms but on closer inspection is grimy and dark. The dark blue sheets had bodily fluid stains on them , dirty inner pillows and heavy medieval bed coverings had an odour of old staleness. I saw cleaners going round wiping everything with a dirty thin towel - and there's no freshness about the linen or...

Four of us stayed at SK House II for three nights last week. We hadn't booked accommodation in Chiang Mai, and were directed to SK House II from the train station, so we were a little skeptical. But the hotel is absolutely incredible. None of us can fault it. The staff made our experience in Chiang Mai the best we've...
