My husband and I stayed at this hotel in the double room which was perfect for us and our children 4 and 6. It is two separate bedrooms with a bathroom in the middle. It is very comfortable and the staff is super friendly. We took an elephant trek while we were there, I just went to the front desk...

This is truly a well designed hotel with only 40 rooms. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We do not have a problem with language barrier as their English is better than our Thai. Breakfast was not what you would expect for the price you pay for the room for...

The DeChai Colonial is a fantastic, boutique hotel on a quiet soi within the old city in Chiang Mai. It's about 15 minutes walking from the night bazaar with lots of options for shopping or sightseeing along the way. The hotel has beautiful, well designed and clean rooms with all the modern amenities. The bathroom is also spacious with a...

This is perhaps our 6th stay at the De Chai hotel and we have never been disappointed in the comfort, service and great location. The rooms are elegant with comfortable beds, large bathrooms with great showers and all the amenities you could want. You can walk to the night market and there is plenty of boutique and handicraft shopping in...

We stayed 5 nights in a suite room which cost us roughly $200 Australian dollars per night which is quite expensive in Thailand for a hotel that advertises itself as at least 4 stars. The suite room itself is spacious and well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. But for $200 per night I would expect much better TV...

De chai is a true oasis, in a narrow and quiet soi, but only steps away from all the city can offer. The perfect location, matched with the comfort and friendliness of a top thai hotel, makes it my first choice when visiting Chiang Mai. The hotel is quite new, rooms are generously large and all is working as clockwork....

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of our stay in Chiang Mai. Get your map prepared, your route marked out and the hotel's full name and address written down if you don't know the area, because it can be a little confusing finding the place unless your taxi driver knows it (I realised some taxi drivers need...

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay and booked a superior room with breakfast. What I liked a lot about this hotel was it's decor - I so appreciated how the exterior, the common spaces and the rooms had a clean, contemporary feel yet retaining hallmarks of traditional Thai style. Even their modest superior room was appealing with an...

My husband and children ( 11yr & 13Yrs ) stayed in a 2 bedroom for 4 nights. There was plenty of space and the room was very clean & beds were comfortable. Location is great, just off a main street. Breakfast was fine, we had free Wi-Fi in the room and we used the driver from our airport transfer for...

The hotel is fairly new, it is modern in design. The location is good on a small quiet road (I heard no noise!). I had the basic room but it was very comfortable with more than enough room. Nice large bathroom with a large bath! The staff are efficient and the breakfast was cooked to order which was a plus...
