We stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe room with a private bathroom. Pros: the grounds are very charming with koi pond, 2 bird cages, a couple of cats, some swings and little trinkets scattered around. It's very Instagramable. Breakfast is included and was decent... Choice of eggs, toast, delicious fruit plate, yogurt, coffee and tea. Staff was friendly but...

Step through the large gates from the busy street and you will be transported to a jungle retreat. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is exceptional. Enjoy fresh breakfast or just relax on the outdoor porch or sitting areas. There is laundry service available, and the restaurant next door is convenient and tasty. The location is a little off...

I just got back from a two week stay in Chiang Mai and stayed at Santitham Guest House. We had a lovely room with a soft western king size bed. We had fresh fruit every morning with eggs made to order. The staff assisted with making reservations for massages, providing laundry services and calling red trucks. Noland, the owner, was...

This place is really a nice relaxing spot in the middle of a busy neighbourhood. It's not in the old city, but we didn't find that to be a problem. Great hosts who speak English. We had a nice room in the main building and there is a lovely sitting room out back.

Stayed at Santitham with my boyfriend for 4 nights. I must say everything was lovely! We were in the main house and shared 2 bathrooms with about 6 other people. It was never a problem and the house was always quiet. The landscape is beautiful and serene and an escape from the busy city. The hosts are so nice and...

When people imagine you in Thailand, they imagine you in this kind if guesthouse. The place is a real sanctuary like the other reviews say. We came for one night and stayed two more nights. The house is beautiful and the sound of the flowing water makes it even better at night to sleep. Their breakfast was the best I...

The staff is super nice, helpfull and very service minded. It's a small place, a bit far from the center. TukTuk and taxi can be difficult to get. Rooms are nice and modern, but there are quite a bit of mosquitos. Location is a question of temperament. It's definitely local with lots of street food. In walking distance is a...

I was shown to a room that sometimes is used for guest room, there very first guest room, It's very odd the room because there was somebody's clothes in one half of the wardrobe with rucksack. . Patio door had no lock on it. I was not allowed to use the bathroom by me (only the toilet at night only)....

Having been in this guest house business for over 13 years, you think you have seen everything under the sun, but then comes a review like this and I just scratch my head. I would like to review the reviewer! A very few times we have gotten what I call a "grudge review" where the reviewer, for whatever reason, exaggerates,...
