I have stayed here twice. My first visit I had a bright second-floor room (private room/private bath). My second visit I had a rear, windowless, dark ground level room (private room/private bath). The toilets are squat-style only. The staff was always friendly. This guesthouse is clean and no-frills. For the low price, this is a good deal. Located in the...

Really great deal for the money, with small but cozy rooms all with private washrooms. It is on very quiet backstreet, but so close to Sumphet market, many cafés, juice shops, restaurants and food stalls. The two owners (a Swiss and a German with their thai partners) are friendly and helpful. An other plus is the roof terrace. Wifi is...

Cheap and a good location. I had a small room with a bathroom that was reasonably clean. There was only cold shower in the room but the Guesthouse has a shared hot shower in a lobby. The good thing about this place is that its a short walk to somphet market and there's loads of nice cafes near by.

Just don't bother, the only good thing about this place is that its a short walk to somphet market and there's loads of nice lil cafes and the likes nearby. There is an abundance of guesthouses in the same vicinity so just go to one of them! The room was cheap but like a prison cell, the water from the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in early Feb 2013. Our 250bhat twin room came with ensuite shower / squat toilet and whilst the room itself was clean enough, the drainage from the toilet seemed to be poor and despite pouring numerous buckets of water down it, the squat toilet began to smell after the first day. Despite having a...

Yes, this is not a Hilton or a Shangri-la, but for $5 a night there is very little to complain. I had a small room with a bathroom that was reasonably clean. There was only cold shower in the room but the Guesthouse has a shared hot shower in a lobby. At first I thought this would be inconvenient, but...

Hostel is Pretty cheap and in a Good Location with only Little Noise From The Street. Hiwever the Walls are so thin you hear everything (and I really Mean everything!) of your neighbours. Our "bathroom" (located within the room and separated just by a low wall) was smelly. Pros are The nice roof terace and The Price of 250 BHT....

My best friend and I stayed here, based on a recommendation from Lonely Planet. The room was NOT AT ALL AS DESCRIBED. The sheets were dirty, the walls had footprints on them, and the room smelled terrible. Additionally, the walls between the rooms were so thin, that we could hear the man 3 rooms over snoring! Needless to say, we...

I stayed here as it was recommended in the Lonely Planet Southeast Asia guidebook. The guesthouse is located on a lane to the west of Th. Moon Muang, in a pleasant area of Chiang Mai popular with backpackers without being too commercial, 10-15 minutes walk to the Tha Phae gate. Check-in was straightforward, payment for the room was in advance...
