I think I paid about $20 for a spacious no frills room with a huge bed. Price was exactly right and in line with Chiang Mai prices. Not the cheapest guesthouse, but the rooms are huge and clean. Not a hotel either for sure and there are definitely a few snags... the water pressure in the shower was amazing (better... More

This is a five star based on the rooms/cleanliness/wifi but it's the staff and customer service that really make this place shine. Location is in an alley but is close to a lot of things to do in the main square as well as restaurants.

We stayed at the hotel two nights. It was one of the best hotel we stayed in Thailand in the range of our budget (10-15€). Spacious, clean and great bathroom. It is located into the rampart area. I recommand it 100%.

Advantages are good location and size of the rooms as well as more than enough place to put the luggage. Nice staff. The hotel takes the money in advance so do not decide how long would you stay befor seeing the room first. Disadvantages is that nobody pays attention that the rooms are not cleaned properly (i cleaned the desk... More

Hi Framuja, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our property. I'm sorry to hear the rooms weren't clean enough. I have personally addressed this with our housekeeping staff to ensure this won't happen again. We're very sorry for your uncomfortable stay at our guesthouse. Hope to see you again in the future. Best Regards, Dozy House More

Phoned the hotel to see if they could switch our days as we where going to get there a day earlier than planned, owner was really helpful and sorted this not problem! When we arrived the owner gave a lovely friendly welcome and our room was massive! Really big, clean and had everything we needed, plus the shower was so... More

The friendliest place I have ever stayed. The staff were wonderful and so helpful with excursions and getting around Chiang Mai. Very homely vibe like free toast and coffee and no shoes on inside. Room was excellent and clean and located in the old town so very close to Sunday market and major temples! You must stay here!!!!!

Me and my friend stayed here for one night. The hostel is inside the Old City, just 15 minutes from the main streets. Dozy house has a lovely reception area with free coffee, tea and toast anytime you want. The rooms are very nicely decorated, each with a different colour theme. The double bed was pretty big, some reviews say... More

I stayed here at Dozy House for 4 nights booked via Expedia. Check in and out was flawless. They have tourist information and you can book through reception. Staff was nice but I found that there were too many flaws to make it my perfect stay as I found a much better hotel closer to the heart of the Old... More

From first time Aussie travelers: This residence was amazing because of the location (close to everything), facilities(air con, shower etc.) And service!!! The staff at Dozy house were the kindest and most helpful people we have met on our trip. They suggested things to do and organized anything we wanted. They made us feel so welcome like a family. Our room in the Dozy house was so pretty. It was a good size, with a comfy bed and pillows and excellent air con. It was like a bedroom and felt very homely and the wifi was brilliant- we even managed to stream netflix! When we arrived, the young girl on reception was so friendly and gave us a map... More
