The hotel is extreamly dirty, smelly and with unfriendly stuff. You have only one towel per person in your room and if you ask for a face towel or second towel they want to charge 30Bath per towel fol laundry after.

We chose this hotel mainly because of its location, it's close to the river (very convenient during the light festival) and the night market. The hotel in general is basic, but clean. Breakfast is nice, but be sure to look at the cooked meals. They are included, although some staff might tell you otherwise (be persistent and you will receive...

This hotel is comfortable and clean and has nice sized rooms. It has a good location. It doesn't have a pool but pool lovers can use the pool at the hotel across the road for 100 baht. It has a homey feel. It is not a modern place. Wifi not free but only 60 baht for the duration of your...

As part of an Intrepid Hilltribe trek, we were a accommodated at People Place 2 before and after the trek. As per my heading, this hotel is basic. Has all you need but would not stay here for lengthy period of time in Chiang Mai. The hotel next door People Place 1 would be more suited to longer stay with...

We stayed here on an Intrepid trip, and while it was basic, it did have a mini fridge in the rooms, which was very welcome. The breakfast buffet was not worth the cost — much better to go eat on elsewhere. Laundry around the corner which is much quicker and cheaper than the hotel — I thought my laundry I'd...

Basic guesthouse but with fridge and air conditioning. Curtains are non existent so bring some eye shades. Paid tea/coffee at reception . Lots of mosquitoes. Reception staff a little tetchy but soon cheered up. Clean

We've been there as a part of an intrepid trekking tour (which we enjoyed very much btw). Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is simple. Hotel is close to the night market. There might be better choices in CM but you don't do anything wrong with this hotel. Nice side note: Two bottles of mineral water are free each day,...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel was basic and clean. Steps from night market and ladyboy cabaret show. Don't think anyone at front desk cracked a smile the times I walked by them. Easy to get a tuktuk on the Main Street. Not far from old town. Walkable for me.
