My husband and I stayed at kamala house for 3 weeks. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. In particular a lovely young lady by the name of Dah (probably spelled her name wrong sorry) went above and beyond for us time and time again. It was very comforting to see her smile when we came and went. The whole...

We were very happy to have spent our 4 days in Chiang Mai at Kamala's. The staff (esp. Afan) was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great! We also ate yummy lunch there.

Friendly staff, rooms a good size and clean. Afan was exceptionally helpful. The service and treatment I got from the staff was fantastic. The rooms were clean, and the shower warm. Air conditioning worked well. Fair Prices. I checket about 10 Rooms in other Guesthouses, before I took a Room in Kamalas GH. I would definitely stay there again. The...

Friendly staff, rooms a good size and clean, take mosquito spray as Thai mosquitos seem to be smaller and your don't hear them dive-bombing you. Well located just outside the old town. Didn't have a meal there so can't comment on restaurant.

My wife and I, along with our two daughters age 5 & 9, stayed at Kamala's for five nights. We were in the family connecting room, which provided us a lot of space and comfort. The guesthouse is not fancy, but the service and treatment we got from the staff, including the owner Kamala herself, was fantastic. The rooms were...

I've visited CM many times over the past 4 years. Kamala is the best place to relax, sleep, eat, drink, plan your tours, enjoy a mix of locals and tourists, and be a 2 minute walk to historic Tha Phae gate in Old City. The owner is Thai but European at heart and speaks fluent English and is fun and...

Our room was basic but all needs were met - 2 double beds, tv, free wifi, hot shower water(!). The bathroom was clean, but it's shower is not enclosed so water goes everywhere (it's not a big deal, but something Americans will not be a fan of). It's located in an area surrounded by other guesthouses and eateries. The best...

Nice comfortable room. Located in a quieter alley off the main road. High season I got charged almost 800 baht which i felt was a bit over-priced as for this price can find somewhere with swimming pool. Still, nice place to have a coffee or a beer -my bottle of Chang was 65 naht
