We booked a standard room and stayed over the weekend. It's a 5 minute walk to Chabad. First of all, there was no free wifi, which is incredibly annoying. Additionally they is no safe in the room, only downstairs where you have to sign in and out every time you want to open it. The room was clean, and quiet....

The rooms are a bit dated (e.g. old fashioned TVs rather than flatscreen) but everything is spotlessly clean and everything works. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The baths are full size and there is always lots of hot water which comes through immediately. Towels a bit thin but plenty of them. Staff nice and service could not be...

Stayed for two nights as part of group tour - we all had a double room to ourselves and everyone seemed happy with this hotel. The staff were wonderful, the rooms clean and with everything you need and food was very good with plenty of choice. Easy walk to the night market. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights. Very clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Free wifi. Lovely pool for just some chill time. Close to the hotel was a great Italian Restaurant where we had real Italian food cooked by an Italian Chef from Napoli.

We have been to Chiang Mai 5 times and each time in a different hotel but the Empress was by the far best. The staff make the stay so memorable and went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied and our coffee was replenished frequently. All the tuk tuk and taxi...
