Very good location, a short walk to the night market. The room itself was very nice, and bathroom was clean, nice tub for a bath. I had a couple issues though primarily with housekeeping. I'm sure they could do a better job cleaning the rooms.after dropping an item which rolled under the bed I had the pleasure of finding more...

This hotel is the last resort when nothing else is available and you need to stay a night in Chiang Mai. It doesn't qualify as a hotel that either a business person would want to use or a nice place for a vacation. We stayed for 4 nights over the new year because we couldn't find another place on New...

It is our second stay at the Chiang Mai Plaza. It is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are big and comfortable. Large swimming pool with many chairs around. The buffet breakfast offers a great variety of food, international and thai. It is located only 5 minutes walk from the Night Bazaar. The only negative point is that the WIFI did...

The location is good as it is near the night bazaar and it's not too far from Thapae Gate. The standard of the hotel is ok, but the bathrooms are filthy. The staff wasn't really friendly either. All in all I'd recommend staying away from Chiang Mai Plaza.

Nice hotel for the price. We arrived after 2pm and our room was not ready yet, but they had it ready within 15 minutes (just enough time to do a beer run across the street). The room was clean although the shower curtain was very dirty on the bottom and the curtains were a bit torn. The breakfast was probably...

I didn't have high expectations after reading previous reviews of this hotel. Still I chose to stay here because it was reasonably priced for that area and had almost all the amenities I was looking for. It's an old-fashioned hotel with many ornate carvings and statues. Yes, I agree with the other reviewers that the room has dated furniture/furnishings. The...

Absolutely useless hotel. Staff are extremely rude - will not let you check in even a minute before their 2pm check in time (we were even offering to pay). Overall all staff were extremely rude, the rooms are very dated and it's very hit and miss if you will even have hot water. The only thing this hotel has going...

No late check out!!! Noisy from the above floor. Waited for extra pillows more than 30 minutes. Overall it was just ok. Not too impressive. The staffs are ok. But the receptionists are not very friendly, they are might be too busy!

Ahh, the Plaza, I learned to loved it in the end. The lobby will make you think you're staying somewhere really grand but I think that's where they spent all of their money. It's a huge hotel and parts of it are closed off but it felt a bit sorry for itself. Our room was very big, clean but dated...
