We landed at Tamarind Village after 5 days in Bangkok. This was exactly what we needed/wanted after a few hectic days in the city. It's literally a private oasis in the middle of Old Town Chiang Mai. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel most welcome. Since we were staying 5...

Good place to stay nice quiet area just off busy road. Only draw back lack of sun beds, friendly staff. Free temple tour good. Good breakfast. Lots of temples to visit, river to visit, with market near the old town walls

This hotel has a few really excellent things going for it. The location is perfect. Right in the centre of old town but also tucked away and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, while we did not have any problems during our stay I am sure they would have fixed any problem and they were always helpful with...

The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of food you can choose from ! The spa feels like heaven and it was worth every penny. I will definitely recommend...

This was my favorite place in Thailand. The hotel is optimally located in the heart of the old city with the Sunday walking market just out the front gate. Amazingly, though, once you are on the grounds of the hotel it is completely peaceful. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive. The rooms were simply beautiful and so very comfortable....

We stayed for one night and really wished we had stayed longer. The staff is so great. They really go out of their way to help the guests. We ate on site and the food was great. You can find cheaper food out in town but we enjoyed the meals. The grounds are wonderful. Be sure to take the walk...

Amazing and beautiful hotel in the old city. Allows you to be in walking distance of lots of templates and good street food & markets. The hotel offers a complimentary walking tour, well worth doing on your first day so you get your bearings. Rooms are lovely. Would come again.

We arrived at The Tamarind Village hotel in Chiang Mai late in the evening after a very long day travelling from England. We were weary, hot and hungry. We were greeted by our lovely hotel receptionist, Yo. He spoke good English; was kind, caring, welcoming and had an aura of calm. Yo never altered during our stay and was always...
