Maybe one of the nicer boutiques/Hotels I ever stay in. The front desk, the staff, location, nothing bad to say. Just beautiful. Very clean. The restaurant for breakfast or dinner is also a great point. In Chiang Mai, you have to stay
There was a feeling of "WOW" when we checked in. Architects must have a lot to say about the design of this hotel. But as a layperson I found the tranquility of the hotel the most attractive part. I ended up spending more time in the hotel enjoying the peacefulness it offers. The on-site library is exquisite with a good stock of books (from arts to history and novels) that one can spend the whole afternoon reading or daydreaming. The superior room is of standard size and generally clean. But with such a beautiful surrounding who would want to stay in the room. The breakfast is excellent that focuses more on quality rather than quantity (in terms of choices). The staff were generally attentive and courteous but faintly aloof.
An absolute gem of luxury : the hotel displays a wonderful Thai architecture with patios , gardens and pool, ultra fine dining and at walking distance to city center but so quiet. On top , staff is very kind and discreet, I mostly appreciated that they offered me a delicious birthday cake and card as a surprise in our room. Ideal for a couple retreat and relaxing ( definitely not a destination for party within the hotel)
Just about to wrap up our visit to Chaing Mai and we have been staying at this gorgeous hotel It was just what we needed after a few bustling days in Cambodia The grounds are so peaceful that we feel like we should whisper as to not disturb the beautiful vibe But that’s the great thing is you don’t have to It’s totally relaxed without being stuffy The staff is amazing, friendly and efficient If we are ever back this way we will definitely stay here again
Can't fault this beautiful, calm place. The hotel is expertly designed providing a haven of peace from busy Chiang Mai. The hotel is meticulously maintained and seems to ooze peace and tranquility from the minute you walk through the gates. The pool is excellent, long enough for lengths, shaded on one side, sunny on the other, and again, meticulously maintained. Poolside service was also excellent. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and was perfect: a good offering of hot dishes, plus fruits, pastries, cheese, juices, etc. More than enough and all beautifully done. The staff are all very gentle and calm, again adding to the serenity of the environment, and all very efficient. If you want a boom-boom party place, look elsewhere. If you want a delightful, well maintained oasis of calm in which to relax, this is your place. We loved it.…
I felt that we researched every place to stay in Chiang Mai and SO glad that we stayed here. An exceptional stay. The design and artichitecture are truly special, so fascinating & stunning. Excellent room - we had the 2 bedroom above the library, very clean, spacious & comfortable. The food was so delicious and such attentive service that we enjoyed several meals. Breakfast was such a treat. Centrally located, easy to walk to temples, museums, night market, etc. Absolutely and loved the peace & tranquility.
We stayed in Rachamankha for three nights and would say we had a nice stay. The hotel is centrally located and the grounds are very nice. The food was good. We stayed in a deluxe room which we found to be a bit dated and in need of some small repairs. For example, the bathroom doors slide open/closed but one of our doors was stuck which made entering/exiting a little cumbersome. It wasn’t a huge deal but it was noticed. Also, even though we had a couple of windows in the room, there was a limited amount of natural light that came into the room. The staff did a great job in assisting us and housekeeping and the grounds staff really did a wonderful job. We would rate our overall stay a three and a half star but without that option we will bump it to a four star.
Just spent a weekend at Rachamankha. Such a beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff were fantastic and arranged a transfer from airport. Most beautiful room.. definitely recommend the deluxe room on the second floor near the pool I stayed in no15. . Beautiful spaces and beautiful antiques and furniture throughout the hotel . Breakfast is served in the most beautiful space and a highlight. There is a beautiful library on site and a gallery of artefacts. My stay was too short and cannot wait to return for a longer stay. Staff and service were accommodating and their recommendations for sight seeing perfect. Just a perfect stay and cannot wait to return
Excellent experience: beautiful traditional Thai style architecture, comfortable rooms, delicious food in different styles, the kindness of the staff and attention to details is really high level. Everything well organized and clean. This is a true oasis in Chiang Mai. Thanks for the hospitality and congratulations for the great job.
We only spent one night here, but what a lovely experience it was. We had dined at the hotel on another occasion, and were taken with its beauty, and so decided to spend a night here. The architecture and the grounds are simply stunning, and it was so quiet and peaceful. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable; we slept very well here. We spent a lot of time by the pool - it's quiet and relaxing, and the cocktails were good. The breakfast was very good - rather than a buffet, it was a la carte, with a good selection of options that are cooked specifically for you - so it was fresh. The staff were very polite, professional and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there.
