This was our fouth stay in 3 years, It's hard to come up with new superlatives. I've written about this B&B twice before and the fact is, we don't even consider staying anywhere else when we're in Chiang Mai. Baan Orapin is as good as it gets !!!

We really enjoyed our five days at Baan Orapin. The atmosphere was magical thanks to the elegant and decorated wooden buildings seemingly lost in a jungle of majestic trees. The owner, the manager and everybody in the property did his/her best to make our stay pleasant. The copious breakfast taken on the deck of the oldest building near the charming...

We stayed in this guesthouse for 5 nights and we truly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the front wing of the house, which we did not experience that noisy as some other reviewers did. We found the room perfectly adequate and spacious. We loved the beautiful garden and the swimming pool, a perfect place to cool down after a...

My partner and I came here after spending four days in Bangkok and frankly, weren't feeling too impressed with Thailand. Well, that all changed the minute we walked through the gate at Baan Orapin! You immediately feel the tranquility of the place with it's lush tropical gardens and relaxing atmosphere. Our room had a nice sitting area, fridge, spacious patio...

My husband and I spent two nights at Baan Orapin and were very happy with it. The bungalows are spacious and clean with closets and a safe. The beds are pretty hard, but we found that to be the norm all over Thailand. The breakfast is delicious, though it is cooked to order, so be prepared for it to take...

We loved our stay at Baan Orapin. What a delight to step though the door and away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai into a lovely garden oasis. The pool and garden are really lovely set around the majestic old (over 100 years) traditional teak family home of Opus, the delightful owner. Special mention must go to "Pepsi"...

Four years ago, my husband and I stayed at the Baan Orapin for our honeymoon and, during that stay, started talking about moving to southeast Asia. Last week, we returned to the scene of the crime -- now that we are living in Cambodia -- and were oh, so happy to discover that the Baan Orapin was just as lovely...

Upon requesting a front wing junior suite, Opas (the owner) recommended that we opt for the slightly more expensive rear junior suite. Absolutely the right decision - it was wonderful, tranquil and beautifully furnished with dark wooden furniture and a 4-poster bed. We booked to stay for 5 nights - we were due to get a sleeper train back to...
